It's been a month since I've remembered June. I can't believe I ever forgot about her. She wanted to meet for dinner tonight. I'm currently getting ready. She already left a while ago to get things set up. I get dressed and walk out the door. I head to the place we are supposed to meet up and I see her standing there. She is wearing a beautiful dress with flats. She told me she hates heels. I walk towards her as she turns toward me. She smiles and takes my hand leading me to a restaurant. We sit at a table near the window. The waiter comes to our table and takes our orders. We create small talk as we wait. "So, what is it you wanted to tell me", I ask. "You will know soon." The waiter comes up to us with our orders. "Here you go. Enjoy." We eat our food and talk and laugh. It is a truly amazing night. After we finish eating, June leads us to a park. We walk around getting lost in the trees. She stops me abruptly when we reach an area where the stars and the moon are visible. "So about what I have to tell you", June says nervously. "Yes?" She seems scared and is staring down at her feet. "I-I'm" I lift her eyes up so that her eyes meet mine. I give her a reassuring look. "I'm pregnant," she says. I look at her in astonishment. She looks back down at her feet. I smile happily and take her in my arms. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her towards me. She starts crying tears of joy. I lift her chin up and put my lips on hers. We stand there for a while. We pull away and I say joyously,"I'm gonna be a father!"
