What made me fall in love with her? You ask,
Did you not look at the way she smiles,
They aren't the happy-go-lucky kind,
It makes you realise that,
You don't know her and you never will.
Did you ever glance in to her chocolate brown eyes?
They don't have a mischievous glint in them anymore,
And carry responsibilities far ahead of her time.
Did you not look at the bags under her eyes?
They tell you stories about sleepless nights.
Not afraid of the monster under the bed,
But of the monster inside her which she can't seem to control.
Did you ever look at the way she keeps her chin high,
Even though all she wants is to break down and cry?
The emotions she carries in her heart,
Sometimes look like a burden to most,
But when she is wearing it around her neck,
Like a diamond necklace, heck,
Tell me, who wouldn't want to love her?
