When Autumn woke up the next morning, Pierce was still with her. His arm was wrapped around her. She looked up at him and saw that he was awake.
"Goodmorning, love." Pierce said
"Goodmorning." Autumn responded. Pierce started to rub her back.
"How you feeling?" Pierce asked.
"Good considering I'm with you." Autumn said.
"Good. What are you doing today?" Pierce asked.
"Probably going to be starting to deal with The Brotherhood today. Depending on when Carlos calls me." Autumn said.
"Sounds fun." Pierce said. And with that, Autumn got a phone call from Carlos.
"One second." Autumn told Pierce as she picked up her phone.
"Hello?" Autumn said.
"Hey, it's not so bad. Maero asked for a sitdown before things get too heated." Carlos told Autumn.
"All right, where does he want to meet us?" Autumn asked.
"Below the Spelunkers shop in the Factories District." Carlos replied.
"See you there." Autumn said.
"See you." Carlos replied then hung up.
Autumn got up from the bed and started to get dressed.
"You meeting up with Maero?" Pierce asked.
"Yeah, I know this shit ain't gonna go well." Autumn admitted.
"While you're doing that I'm going to find information on how to fuck with The Ronin with Gat." Pierce said.
"Alright. Let me know when you two find something." Autumn responded.
"Will do. Be careful in the meeting." Pierce said as he kissed Autumn's forehead.
"I'll try." Autumn responded then finished getting ready then left to go to the location of the meeting. When she did she saw Carlos waiting for her in front of the Spelunkers shop.
"You ready for this?" Carlos asked.
"Yeah, let's go." Autumn confirmed as the two went to the underground area of the shop. The more they went down the more it got dark, luckily Carlos and Autumn brought flashlights. They saw a big muscular man with a lot of tattoos sitting down with his head down.
"You Maero?" Autumn asked.
"That's right." Maero confirmed as he looked up at her. His voice was deep.
"Where's your crew then?" Autumn asked.
"I don't need one." Maero responded.
"You sure about that? I could kill you right now." Autumn said as she put her NR 9 up to his head.
"No, you wouldn't." Maero said as he stood up. He was at least a foot or two taller than her.
"Waddya want?" Autumn asked.
"Listen, I'm not stupid. I know who you are. And there's no reason for us to tear each other apart." Maero said.
"Alright. I'm listening." Autumn replied.
"Here's what I'm thinking, we split Stil--" Maero said but then got cut off.
"I hear voices! This way!" A cop said as bullets came flying.
