Goodmorning, Princess

This is a small chapter because I don't have a lot of time to write because of exams! I hope you like it!

Isabelle's POV 

I woke up to someone holding me in their arms while walking and I also had a blanket snuggled around my body. I yawned and my whole entire body was stiff and sore. 

"Goodmorning, princess," Xavier said kissing my forehead. "I'm taking you to my office, we need to talk about some things." He stroked my cheek and I giggled and grabbed his hand holding it tight. 

"What kind of things, X?" I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck while I played with his hair. He didn't answer my question, but he put me down in his huge desk chair and kneeled down in front of me. 

"I need to help you. You need to tell me about what happened to your parents," I froze as soon as I heard him say that,"... and your pack." Tears came to my eyes and I shook my head. 

"N-no!" I said trying to get away from him, but he kept me still. "Let go!" I yelled, but he didn't. 

"I know you don't want to talk about it, but I will help you and find the people who harmed you and your pack," he begged. He cupped my face in his hands and kissed my cheeks. "You. Are. Safe. I will never let anyone lay a hand on you or ever hurt you again," he pulled me into his chest, but I couldn't believe him when he told me that I would be okay. 

"I-I can't, X. I-I'm not ready," I pleaded. 

Xavier's POV

I clenched my jaw and shook my head. I stood up and slammed the door and I left the room. I heard Isabelle's cries. But, I needed to get out of there because I was furious with this situation. I'm known as the most fearful Alpha in the world for my torture and I never thought that I'd be able to care for someone as much as I care for Isabelle, and I wanted to help her. It was driving me insane! 

"Alpha," I heard a voice call. I turned around to see my third Tyler standing there. What the hell did he want? Couldn't he see I was angry and not in the mood for a conversation?!

"What?" I hissed and glared at him. 

"Sorry, Alpha. But Isabelle is throwing a... tantrum and she's locked herself in your office. No one can get," Tyler said with fear in his eyes because I growled at him. Isabelle locked herself in my office? Why? 

I walked back towards my office to hear Isabelle crying. I knocked on the door but she told me to go away. She was begging for me not to hurt her. I knew I should just give her space, but another part of me knew she needed me. I unlocked the door with a key and saw her shaking under the table. Quickly, I walked over to her and pulled her out from under the table and rocked her in my arms. 

"Shh, baby, it's going to be okay," I whispered in her ear. 

"My p-pack is Dark Moon pack, they were k-killed over a month ago by scary p-people," she said. "My Daddy was killed right in front of me, and then my mommy sacrificed herself for me," she sobbed out. 

"Isabelle, shh. You don't need to tell me. It's too much for you right now," I cooed in her ear. "Now, let's go get you something to eat and then a bubble bath." 

I walked into the kitchen with a sleepy Isabelle in my arms and then little Anna came running in and grabbed onto my leg. "Xavier! Play with me. Mommy and Daddy are going out today and they told me that I get to spend the day with you! Isabelle can hang out with John or Tyler!" She suggested.

I didn't know what to say to Anna. I couldn't leave Isabelle with John and Tyler because she was scared of them. But, Anna deserved some time with me because she is my little sister. I sighed. "How about this, both you and Isabelle can spend the day with me. Isabelle isn't ready to be on her own yet," I told Anna. Isabelle was now wide awake in my arms and she was staring at Anna. 

"That's not fair, Xavier! I'm your sister!" She whined. I put down Isabelle on the counter and picked up Anna in my arm. She glared at me and I saw tears in her eyes. This made me feel like a jerk. "You never spend time with me anymore," Anna said looking to the ground. 

"I know, I know, but Isabelle has it pretty tough right now. I'll tell you what, if you give me time to sort out what's going on with Isabelle, I will spend the whole day with you sometime soon and bring you to the Zoo," I suggested. Her eyes widened with happiness and she threw her arms around my neck and squealed. 

"Yay! You can spend the day with Isabelle but you have to promise to take me to the Zoo," she smiled.  

"Pinkie promise," I said reaching out my pinkie and she wrapped her little finger around mine. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and Anna went running off. 

I turned to look at Isabelle to see she was eating an apple she got off the counter. She froze when I was staring at her. "S-sowy," she said and put the apple back with the others. I laughed and handed her her apple back. She smiled a little and continued to eat it happily.
