It's been a little over two years since Bucky has left and Armina has settled in to the quiet life to say the least.

"Dagger! I swear when I find you, you demon dog, I'm gonna kill you!" The dark women screamed from the half painted room.

She walks into the living room to find the said demon dog sound asleep in his dog bed.

"That was the last paint brush now I have to go out and get more! I had half a room to finish I shouldn't have to get more!" She yells at the dog, who just opens one eye to stare at her.

A sigh escapes her mouth as she grabs her wallet and shoes.

"Alright, you wanna go for a walk?"

In blur the dog was sitting right at the door wagging its tail.

"Okay let's go."

"Stay here mama will be right back." She spoke to the dog as she tied him up outside the small paint shop.

A bell rang as the women opened the door and made her way to the aisle she needed.

Grabbing the last paintbrush the women walked up to the cash register.

"That'll be 3 dollars and 87 cents please."

"Here, keep the change." Armina hands him a 5 and grabs her bag.

As she walks out the door she notices something was off. She looks around and realizes the sidewalk was empty, not just of people but her dog too.

"Dagger? Dagger, where are you?"

As she starts walking around to search for him she hears growling coming from an alley.

"Dagger?" She questions walking down the alley with her claws out Incase something happens.

The growling gets louder and she could also hear a small cry along with an angry shout.

When she approaches the scene she sees dagger in front of a little boy about 6 years old and is facing the angry man growling at him.

"Hey! Get away from my dog!" She shouts at the man putting her claws away so she wouldn't be exposed.

"Then get your dog away from my son!" He shouts back at the same time the little boy shouts.

"He's not my dad! He took me from my mommy!"

"Back up now or I'll call the police." She speaks calmer now.

"I ain't gonna take orders from a little black girl. This is my country anyway." He says smugly.

"Okay that's it. Assustá-lo." With that the dog went crazy barking and growling at the man walking closer to him until the man ran away terrified.

"Good boy, Dagger." She smiles at the dog as he wagged his tail walking up to her to get pet.

"Are you okay, little one?" She spoke to the little boy.

"Yeah I'm okay. Your dog protected me from the man." He said starting to smile when said dog started licking the tears off his face.

"Let's go find your mama, sound good?"  The little boy nods getting up and grabbing her hand as they walked out of the alley.

After returning the boy to his mother, the princess and her dog made their way home. Letting Dagger off the leash as soon as the made it to their yard and Armina checked the mail, hoping for another letter from the ex-HYDRA assassin she grew close to.

Over the two years he was gone he'd send a letter every month to keep her updated on were he was. Last she leaned from him he was in Romania, that was 5 months ago.

She then panicked when she heard on the knees about the bombing in Vienna and the fight between the avengers.

After seeing that there was nothing but junk mail she made her way inside and started painting the last room.

With her radio playing and her concentrating on the painted wall she didn't here the knock on her door.
