I woke up...to be honest I didn't sleep to wake up.It's me Sarah a police officer,it just turned this way I hated law the most ,but, I wasn't good at any subject, so I couldn't make another choice... .I thought it would be easy :people say that cops don't do anything .But, we are who run from place to another,hit and being hit when others are sleeping ,in a party or celebrating .We don't just chase the criminal but help o others like an abandoned child or a lost one,a grandmother who forget her way to home a drunk one who stinks alcohol... .It's our job to have scar there and there,lack of sleep and being tortured all day and night.It's all about courage and patience these two things that I don't know...I didn't know !
I was quitting the home when my mom appeared in front of me :
Mom :Where are you going ?
Me :Mom,you scared me... .Where do you think ?
Mom :You just come ,it's been like 30min !
Me :I wanted to take shower I have a lot of work !
Mom :Are you sure you're working not going others places ?
Me :You are right,yesterday my friend who owns a big restaurant invited me to her birthday,that was amazing ! I have some photos,wanna see ?
Mom :You don't have a rich friend,stop lying !
Me :Exacly mom !I'am a cop so if the criminals don't sleep I won't !
Mom :Tell them that you are tired !
Me :They aren't better than me !At this time,when you and me arguing like this my colleague are chasing ,stressing running for security of this city !So please, I know you are worrying,but,I have to do my job !Bye !
While leaving ,and thinking that I shouldn't have come home , my mom grabbed my hand :
Me :You scared me mom !What now ?
Mom :You are saying that you're a police officer and you're afraid of this ?Shame on you !
Me :I'm human before being an police officer !
Mom :Forget it !Did you think about my offer ?
Me :Which one,cause you are being too much these days !
Mom :(hitting me)Watch your mouth young girl,I'm your mom !I'm talking about about the blind date,I'm thinking....
Me :(Interrupting her)Don't,just don't !Mom who want to date a woman like me,and I have no time !
Mom :you're right,who want to marry a woman who seems like a man who can't even take care of herself !You don't rest,eat well, sleep... .Look at your face the more you work the more uglier you become !Go,you have work !
Me :Bye,Say to dad that I missed him !
Mom :If you miss him stay until he wake up and take your breakfast !
Me :I will eat outside bye !
I rushed to my work place :police office !I arrived after that all my sweat revealed,then an angry jeon appeared(he's my senior and my chef...) :
Jeon :Do I have to scream every day and you have to listen to me screaming at your face every day ?What today ?Did you help a grandma with her bag or a small lost kid ?Or did you give your place to a pregnant woman so you have to get off and wait for an other bus ?
Me :No !
Jeon :SO WHAT ?
Me :Dealing with an angry mother,sir !
Jeon :Your mother ?
Me :No one other than her .
Jeon : You will clean the toilet after you finish work
Me :Are you talking with me,sir ?
Jeon :No with the stupid you ! Follow me, we have a work now we will talk later !
I just sighed and followed him to the car which I drive all day and night...
It was 22 :37 when we returned from work,my eyes were all red ,we barely ate and I had to clean the smelly toilet.
Wendy come to me and and give me some vitamins :
Wendy :You are really tired !
Me :Thanks God, someone here care about me !Thank you sis !
Wendy :You are really disappeared,go home !
Me :Are you gonna clean the toilet for me ?
Wendy :You can stay for a little longer !
Me :You little !....
I saw Kevin my bro coming from shift,my victim :
Me :Hey Kevin help me, I'm your BF !
Kevin :Sure,with what ?
Wendy :Toilet !
Kevin :I'm starving !Who want noodles ?
Me :Traitors !
Jeon :Stop searching for help and start,you don't have all night !
It was like hell,I didn't know that some smells exist until then !I din't clean my own bathroom ,but other toilet ...yes !
I finished after a long time it wa like 23 :56 when I returned home.I didn't have an appetite but instead I wanted to vomit : those smells still inside my nose !
« Thanks God I' m still alive » that's what I thought before sleeping because being a police officer can lead you to death in any time !
