Gwen's POV

"You don't have to do this if you don't want to, you know... I know we're just pretending to be together so this isn't really necessary...." I told Guanlin as we walked beside each other through the busy streets

"If we don't go out like this from time to time then they would suspect something" He replied "I wanted to hang out so that we could get to know each other better so it's a win-win situation"

I didn't respond. Even though he's being nice, I can't help but think that he's only doing this because I'm doing something he asked me to do.

He probably noticed how silent I was because he suddenly stopped walking and waved his hand in front of my face

"Ya, you okay there?" He asked and I nodded

"I'm fine"

"Hmm... Aha! I know. You're hungry aren't you? Let's go eat"

Without even waiting for my reply, He dragged me to a nearby fast food restaurant.

"What do you want to eat? Order anything, It's my treat" He told me and my eyes lit up and my lips curved into a smile. Guanlin seemed to notice because he looked at me then started chuckling

"What?"

"Food can really make someone's frown upside down" He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Just order me anything that's delicious" I told him before walking off to find an available seat

"How am I supposed to know what food you like?" He asked and I shrugged

"I like any food that's delicious. Oh, and don't get me anything with seafood!" I replied then continued walking towards the seat at the corner

Minutes later, Guanlin arrived carrying a tray filled with food.

"H-hey, don't you think that's a little bit... too much?" I asked and he shrugged

"You said you were hungry, right? I'm hungry too so this isn't really a problem"

"If you say so" I replied then went in to grab a burger but guanlin hit my hand

"Eat everything except that. That's mine"

"jeez... you don't have to be so physical about it" I mumbled but I guess he heard me because he replied

"It's a shrimp burger. I'm guessing you're allergic to seafood because you said your food shouldn't have any"

"B-but what if I'm not? Hm?"

"Then try this, it's really good" He suddenly brought his bitten burger to my mouth which made me push it away

"Alright, alright. I am allergic, you got me"

He slowly brought the burger back and smirked "Thought so"

He then started eating again "This is honestly the best burger i've ever tasted. Too bad you can't taste it"

Was he seriously teasing me?

"It's really that good that you have to brag about it to someone who can't even taste it?" I asked him and he nodded while eating his precious burger

I didn't expect anything like this to happen because for all i've known, he's really not much of a talker. Even before.

But then here he is teasing and talking about random things

I wonder if all of this is real?

No... I wish all of this was real...
