Guanlin's POV

I sighed. Standing in line was boring but I was hungry so I had to stand in line.

I boredly walked a few steps forward once the person in front of me moved but before I noticed anything, she suddenly stopped

"Hey! Why'd you— Ji Eun?" I asked. The girl in front of me was the one from yesterday... at the rooftop.

"Guanlin... Hi" She greeted and I smiled. I've been meaning to find her but I didn'f have any luck. I wanted to treat her or something because I was guilty of screaming at her yesterday

"What do you want to eat?" I asked. She looked surprised by my question and took a few seconds before replying

"What's it to you?" She raised her eyebrows and I smiled

"I'm buying you lunch" I grinned "I don't usually do this so you better feel special. Now what do you want? The line's moving so you gotta say it fast"

"Anything" She shrugged "I'll eat anything that's delicious and safe to consume"

I nodded and told her to find us seats and I'll bring our food to her.

A few minutes later I was finally in front of the line and told the lady what I wanted to buy

"Oh you look happy today young man! You should smile often, you look handsome if you smile!" She told me and I bowed awkwardly before returning to where Jieun was seated.

She stared at me with an eyebrow raised and I looked at her

"What now?" I asked

"Who said anything about us eating together?"

"I did" I replied "Don't complain, it's not everyday you get to eat with the one and only Lai Guanlin"

She rolled her eyes and I chuckled

"What's this?" She asked me as she lifted a piece of what I ordered for her "Hmm...It's delicious!"

"Blood Sausage" I simply said and she stared at me wide eyed

"y-ya! Why'd you feed me blood?! I'm not a vampire!" She complained

"You said you'd eat anything delicious and safe so there" I laughed "Besides, we're eating the same thing so stop worrying"

I noticed how she was just staring at the sausage so I took the initiative to pick it up with my chopsticks and fed it to her. She looked surprised and I gave her a smile

"Eat" I said and she nodded before continuing to eat what's left of her food

"Uh... thanks" She said "for buying me lunch"

I shrugged "No problem"
