Jules POV
It was great seeing Ana at the party, it was great to get to know her a bit more. She definitely made the party a lot better, I was expecting to sit in the corner of the room doing nothing. Ana took the bag of gummy bears though, which I laughed at. Anyway, there's school tomorrow, I think Ana and I are friends now so, I can actually talk to her. It's great to thing I actually have friends now.
*in the morning
My alarm clock blared and, being the clumsy person I am I fell off my bed in surprise and tried to find the clock. I whacked it to turn off the sound and it worked. I was in a bit of a daze because I haven't slept this well for a while, it was a good change. I tossed on some clothes, a plain light gray shirt with jeans, I messed around with my hair then I went to the bathroom and did my usual routine. I stepped out, grabbed a quick hot pocket and headed for school with it in hand.
I had a lot of time since I wasn't as sluggish in the morning and I headed to school. It made it to my locker, I took my time though, I was actually waiting for Ana. I guess I zoned out. I was snapped back into reality when I heard a slam. Ana smacked the now empty bags of gummy bears in my locker. She had a smirk on her face when I looked at her.
"I don't believe you" I grabbed the bag
"Each and every single one" she looked very proud
"You probably shared it with your family or something" she shook her head "or you put them in a different container" i snapped, she laughed really loud "I'm right!"
"No! I ate them all" I gave her a look "well most of them, Lisa and Joe took some" I was about to say something but she added "they took it though, I didn't tell them to eat it!" I started to laugh, the bell rang. We walked to science talking about the homework and the gummy bears. "Yeah I used the studying, gummy bear technique" I questioned her and she added "like when you put a gummy bear on a paragraph then, once you get to that paragraph you eat it!" I laughed
"I would get too distracted by the bears and I would just eat them" she started to laugh then, we headed into science. After the very boring class I headed to my next class.
"Jules! wait up!" I turned to see niko.
"Oh hey niko!" he ran up to me and we started walking to class, he adjusted his hat and started to talk.
"So how are things with you and Ana?" I gave him a death glare and he just laughed "bro, she seemed to have bad experiences with guys" I looked at him confused, wondering how he knew that so I did and he responded "I have a friend that's pretty close to her" I didn't ask for details
"Okay, I don't know if anything will happen, actually probably nothing will happen. She hasn't showed any sign of liking me anyway" he sighed, rubbing his forehead then, laughed.
"That's why you gotta make a move" I shrugged and he left me to walk into class, I sped up and headed into my next class. After that class I had yet another encounter with someone.
"Oh!" the person laughed "hi" he waved for a brief second. I looked at the person.
"Oh hey Barry" he walked beside me, we didn't talk about anything in particular but, it was an interesting conversation. A lot of jokes, questions, and facts. I walked into my next class, then the next, the next, and so on until the school day ended. I thought about the day as I walked home from school, it seems like my life has took a turn for the better.
