Jules' POV
I woke up abruptly on my desk, drool all over my books and a pencil stuck to my face. I pried the pencil off and looked at my work, it was pretty much done. "Jules anak, tulug na" I jumped into my bed and was out like a light.
I woke up in the morning feeling pretty good which again was a good change, I did my usual routine of changing, packing my supplies, eating, brushing my teeth, etc. and was out of the door by 6:15 that gave me a lot of time. As I was strolling to school I kept thinking back, maybe I don't have to sit in the bathroom for lunch anymore. Oh, yeah! I don't know if I told you but, since I really have no friends I go to either the bathroom or the library to eat lunch but, thinking about it, I could possibly sit with niko or Barry. Maybe they sit together! I don't know but it would be great to actually sit at lunch again.
"Ana?" I checked the time 6:30 "what are you doing here so early?" she just looked at me weirdly.
"I should ask you that because you're the one who's usually late" she raised an eyebrow at me. I raised my hands and surrendered
"You got me" I laughed "its just been a really good day so far" she covered her mouth and giggled, how adorable. I shook the thought out of my head. "How bout you?"
"I'm usually here at this time but, yeah it's been a good day" I could tell something was bothering her, I didn't know if we were that good of friends but I asked her 'what's wrong' anyway, she was shocked that I said that but nonetheless she answered my question "I don't know, it's just that, it's stupid never mind" I rolled my eyes and she clearly saw it then did the same. "Fine. I'm stressing about lunch because I have no friends to sit with" she complained. I was a bit surprised to hear that because I honestly thought she had a lot of friends.
"If it makes you feel better I don't sit with anyone but, I'm planning on asking to sit with a few friends today, you can join me if you would like" I informed her, she was watching her feet sweep the dirt on the ground. I saw a small smile creep on her face and she nodded happily, I couldn't help but smile.
*lunch*
"Hey niko!" I caught him right before we went into the cafeteria, he smiled and looked at me. "Is it cool if a friend and I sit at lunch with you guys"
"Yeah! of course, we sit with a few people though" he hesitated before telling me the people "well we have trace and Christina, really sweet people everyone loves them oh, and they are together, REALLY cute couple. They have like the ideal high school couple life" I didn't know who that was but, oh well more friends I guess. "You got my girl Sam, she gorgeous but hands off. Eh that doesn't matter you have Ana" he hit my chest and stuck out his tongue teasingly. I shot him an unamused look so he stopped "Um you got Erin, she's crazy but, one of the best people ever" I've heard of her, I heard she was really funny but, nice. "You got the really dorky couple of Jill and Barry" BARRY?!? YAY I have two people at lunch that I know now! Niko thought a bit before slapping him hands together "that's all of them, who you bringing to us?"
"Ana" I told him with a straight face and he hit my chest again and teased me again, I just walked into the cafeteria ignoring him and his teasing. He followed behind me and pointed to where they sit.
"JULES" Barry yelled, he got up and bro hugged me "what're you doing here"
"I'm gonna eat with you if that's okay" he nodded and I looked around trying to find Ana. I spotted her from across the room and we make eye contact, then she makes her way towards us.
