How Did This Happen?

Why me?

     He walked into the café and was seated by my best friend. She came running back to me and whisper-screamed something along the lines of 'omg he's here'. I just nodded while looking in his direction. He always seems to mesmerize me. He looked over and we made eye contact, I quickly looked away. Aw crap Sky wth was that?! I scolded myself. Why do I always have to be so awkward? (Anyone agree? 😂)

     I walked over to his table and took his order.

     "What would you like today?"
     "I'll just take a tea please."
     "Ok!"

     And with that I walked away. I didn't completely embarrass myself so that's a plus. I went into the kitchen put in his order and went to order from a different table. When I went back to the kitchen his tea was ready, so I took it to him.

     "Here's your tea."
     " Thank you love."
     I blush, "You're welcome."

     I turn away quickly and walk off. O-M-G did he just call me love?! Oh, well he probably calls everyone that. I think to myself. I was in such deep thought I didn't realize Liz was talking to me.

"Sky, Skyyyyy, SKY!"
"Oh, yes, sorry Liz."
"Yea it's fine but like why are you blushing so much?"
"O-oh uh about t-that um well when I gave Thomas his tea he said uh thank you love..." you manage to stutter out.
"O-M-G!!! He called you love?! You two were meant to be! I need to plan your wedding!"
"Wow, wow Liz chill, I doubt he likes me. He probably calls everyone 'love'. I bet if you handed him the check for me he would say 'thanks love' or something like that." I tried to convince Liz even though I knew she wouldnt listen.
      " yea yea whatever you can say that but he OBVIOUSLY loves you just like you love him." She replies drawing out the word 'love'. (If you don't know it would be like 'loooooooooooove' but I didn't wanna type that)
     "Oh uh no uh Liz I-I don't er never mind you're right, I'm in love, but with someone I can't have." The last part I say sadly.
     "You should write your number on his receipt." Liz says bluntly.

Then it hits you, you have his number, you can text each other anytime. He, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, gave you his number. You are so lucky. Why don't you text him? Maybe because it would be terrifying to text someone you are majorly crushing on?
    "I'll be back Liz" you simply say before walking off.

     You bring Thomas his receipt and he pays. You then decide to tell your boss something.

     "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good." (Yes i did that please don't kill me)
     " Ok Sky you can go home early hope you get better."
     "Thanks Mr. Stark."
     You get into your car and drive home. You get home, make popcorn, change into pjs, and open your phone. You go to messages and open it to the contact "Thomas 💖💖". You lay it in front of you and munch on popcorn thinking about what to say. Then you had the perfect idea.

"Hey Thomas... do you want to maybe grab lunch sometime? We could get to know each other" you press send then wonder 'wth did I do' how did I just text him that. Ugh I'm so weird. Oh wait is that him replying?
