The door slammed, I was about to scream but a cold hand went over my mouth before I could get anything out. I started thrashing around the room was dark so I couldn't see a thing. I clawed at the hand ove my mouth, tears started falling. I was going to die. No I didn't want to die this way. I should be used to near death experiences but I never got old.

"If you don't stop crying. I swear ill break your neck" he hissed in my ear, I felt my body start to relax and I stopped crying.

"Good girl, im going to let my hand off your mouth but if you try and scream ill do it." He removed one finger then the next until his whole hand was gone.

"I hate you"

"I hate you too" the light came on and there he was sitting next to me smiling

"You're horrible and I wished you killed me already" I was massaging my jaw because he was squeezing my face too hard

"Then I wouldn't have any fun. Stop being mean or I wont give you your gift"

"You got me a gift?" I turned to look at him. How could something so horrible be so beautiful. His black shirt made him look dark and mysterious and his eyes looked blacked.

"Yes. But your going to have to wait now since you threw a fit" He got up and pulled his shirt off while walked into his closet.

"That's not fair!"

"Why not?" He came out only wearing red and black basketball shorts

"Because im in a house full of vampires who would probably kill me. The door slammed while I was sleep it was dark and you nearly broke my jaw" I said it all in one breath.

"Ha! Okay. Fine I give you that. I didn't know you were sleep. I thought you was with Sam since I didn't hear him"

"I wish" I pouted

"What you say?"

"Your dad came and told me I cant leave this room unless im with you, Matthew or Nicole and a vampire named Aden I think was trying to flirt with me. that's why I was sleep. Im bored to death!"

"your not dead. Yet. But Aden is weird he flirts with anything with hair don't feel special. How do you know that's my dad. Never mind" He sighed grabbed the bags at the door and sat back on the bed.

"can you convice your dad to let me hang with sam?"

"Maybe. Nicole has your stuff in here room because im not having that in here and here" he tossed a best buy bag in my lap.

It was a 16gb Ipodtouch!

"Omg! Thank you!" I crawled behind Marcus and gave his a hug. He tensed up so I let go and distracted myself with my Ipod.

It was quite for a while. He bought me a $100 itunes card.

"Can I use your computer?"

"Give it to me" he typed in something then gave me my gift back

"The password is torture"

"Really? I raised an eyebrow at him

"Yes, do you have a problem"? I shook my head. His email was WhosMarcus. How lame. My email was better.

I spent the night downloading all my favorite music, games,shows and movies when I was done I had $5 left.

"So my dad said you can go with Sam whenever you want now" Marcus sat next to me. I didn't notice that he left horrible..

"Oh Thanks" He eyed me a bit

"You Like Sam?"

"No its just Nice knowing someone who isn't out to kill me"

"You don't know that"

"Sure" I rolled my eyes

"He's going to be a vampire on his 21st birthday"

"Really? When's his birthday?" He thought about it for a second.

"In two weeks I think." So soon

"He didn't tell you?"

"I never asked" He laughed

I looked at the time it was hitting 5:30 am. It was good to know the time, I knew what was coming next. Dinner then sleep.

"Your catching on"

"Yeah it's a rotine now"

"It is isn't it?" I nodded.

I looked back down at my Ipod I wasn't in a talking mood at the moment I just wanted to do something. But it was nothing for me to do. I was only food.

"Your lucky Im not hungry." I looked over to him and he was laying down only in his boxers

"Because you killed someone else already?"

"Exactly. He was a murderer who got away so I killed him"

"So that makes it okay?"

"In a way. Maybe if I get rid of the evil then I might have a chance"

"In what? Redemption?"

"I don't know. Just maybe a chance to survive 100 years"

"So only killers and bad people?"

"No I kill anyone. I almost killed you and your as innocent as a little kid"

"Of course"

"Yup, lay down. Its time for us to go to sleep"

"I don't need to go to sleep. I can stay awake during"

He pinned me down to the bed, His face was inches away from mine. He growled and showed his teeth to me.

"Marlyn, Don't get brave. I know you're a stupid human. Im not asking you Im telling you. Unless your tired of your life."

I looked right into his eyes

I took a deep breath
