I woke up starving. The bed was empty. I walked into the bathroom but he wasn't there. Where was he? I sat waiting for 10 minutes. Nothing. I had lost my appetite. I was beginning to worry.

I kept eyeing the door. He had to be in Nicole's room or Matthews. But where was their room again? I couldn't just sit here waiting. No one was coming. They had to hear me. I was hungry and wanted someone to tell me to stop panicking but it didn't happen.

I had to find someone, even if that meant running into a vampire I didn't know. I crept out the room, trying hard to be quite now. Which wasn't any point. These people had excellent everything.

Down the hall, down the stairs keep straight until you get to the kitchen. Ill be safe, and could eat. I kept repeating that all the way there. The place was empty, a ghost town. It was strange not seeing anyone or having anyone looking at me. Where was everyone?. Even the kitchen lady was gone. What was going on. I walked back into the living room

"Hellooo" My voice echoed off all the walls. I shivered. I should go back to the room something's wrong.

"Hello" A guys voice echoed off the walls. I turned round and round trying to find who it was but I got nothing

"Where is everyone?"

"Its nott safe for you. Little girl" He didn't have to tell me twice. I ran like hell up the stairs, but I tripped along the way slowing me down. I was almost to Marcus room but a man was standing in my way. I stopped running

"Leave me alone!"

"Why?"

"Ill Ill tell Marcus!"

"You don't even know where hes at"

"Hes going to save me" I hoped he was. He laughed and began walking towards me.

"You can only be protected for so long. Little one"

"You cant kill me"

"Why not?"

"Because the Prince is protecting me also" He stopped to look at me, proboly to see if I was lying.

"The Prince? Why are you so important?" He didn't make any moves to get closer but we were close enough that I could see he was short with greens eyes and short blonde hair.

"Yes. Because I wont die"

"What?"

"I cant die. I almost been killed 6 times and no one can kill me. Im Special." He nodded

"Well lets see if you can survive for 7"

In a flash I felt all the air knocked out of me. I crashed into the floor my head smashed against the wall. His teeth sank into my shoulder, his were short, thick and sharp. I tried to scream but I didn't have it in me to. I yelled in my head

Attack. Help Me Marcus, Trent. Someone!!

I hoped someone heard that. He pulled back to look at me. Blood was dripping down this chin. He licked his lips

"No ones going to save you tonight Marlyn"

"Why?"

"They're not here" Well Duh. He grabbed my face "Don't get smart" I nodded "They're not here because tonight is a planet aliment. Tonight all Vampires go out and kill. Even Marcus and the Price."

"Then why are you here?"

"I was going to leave but I heard you." He smiled

"Do you want to die?" Something in me couldn't fear him anymore.

"I am dead"

"No like really die. If you kill me then your going to die too" He loosened his death grip on me and stayed quite for a while.

"You have the right to say you missed death for the 7th time" He let go, and walked away.

I didn't try getting up, I was too weak to move. I pushed myself against the wall and waited impatiently.

"Wake up" I jumped and banged my head on the wall

"Crap" I looked up and Marcus was standing with his arms crossed. He looked annoyed

"Why are you in the hallway?"

"Well hello to you too. I was attacked"

"What!" He kneeled down to look at me

"Can I explain it in my head. Im tired" He nodded. I went over this morning events.

I kept my eyes locked on his face, he looked angry and jaws kept flexing. When I was done, he grabbed my arm and pulled me up with him roughly. I was tugged with him down the stair to the main living room, which was packed once again. Nicole and Matthew appeared at my side out of nowhere.

We stopped right in the center, everyone stopped dead in their tracks and faced us mostly were looking at me.

"This is mine! I do not want to kill any one else who touches her! Stay away from her. You hear, or smell her. Go the opposite direction! This is mine!" He yanked my arm up showing it to the crowd. His voice was loud, demanding echoing off the walls.

"Shes not yours. We all know that" Some one called out

"Shes mine"

"Yes, and yet the Prince owns her at the moment. Or are you just renting her out" another voice called out, getting a few laughs from the crowd. Marcus grip on my arm got tighter.

"Touch her, and you will die" He pulled me with him up the stairs, Matthew and Nicole in the shadows following. I wasn't even walking anymore I was being dragged. I was too afraid to say anything to him.

We entered his room and he slammed the door before his sibling could enter, they started pounding on the door. He let go of me and I fell to the floor, he was pacing his room back and forth. He grabbed his lamp and tossed it at the wall. It was the only lamp left in his room, I used that. The pounding stopped.

"Marcus open the door!" Nicole yelled.

"If you break my door, I will disfigure you!"

"Right. Marlyn scream if he does something to you" I nodded, not that they could see me.

"I hate you" he sat on the edge of his bed and took his shoes and shirt off. "I absolutely hate you now. My life has never been so damn complicated. Todays the last day then im done with you forever"
