It's not easy to be a single girl.Since I am twenty-three & single, I can understand the struggle,sorrows & difficulties that we face during these single years.But friends, Singleness is a blessing so allow God to shape your character and embrace this season.Here are few points on how to embrace your time being single.
1) Be content:
It's difficult to be content when you are single.Maybe your friends are getting engaged and married and you are still single and lonely.You are sad, frustrated even I'm single and face these problems. But God has helped me to see that this season is a valuable season of life. I want to encourage all the single girls/guys to be happy & embrace this season.
Philippians 4:19 -"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
2) Serve God :
You should use this time to serve God as these years aren't going to come back again. Once you get married you will be busy and won't get much time to serve God. So use this time for God's glory. You can get involved in the choir or attend youth meeting in your church.
Matthew 6:33- "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. "
3) Spend time with your Family & Friends :
You can use this time to get close to your family or with your christian friends. You can travel to different places or start a Bible study class with your friends. In this way you can be more content, happy and grow spiritually as well.
4) Give thanks to God:
God has the best plan for you.He loves you and wants you to be happy. Even though things are not going the way you want trust God because he is a faithful God.He cares for you.He gives you everything at the right time.Maybe you are single because God has an amazing plan for your life. Maybe he wants to use you for his glory. So friends trust God and his timing is just perfect.Use this single years wisely and serve God.
