In my blood

I make my way to the gate where y/n will arrive very soon. I'm so excited! She finished her exams and was able to come and spend the summer with me. I'll be doing some shows, but I also have a lot of days off, so we have much time for each other.

I walk the last hallway till gate 15 and wait for y/n to arrive. While waiting, I make some pictures with fans.

"The plane from New York to LAX airport has arrived"

I look up and see the doors open. I say bye to the fans and stand there with a bouquet of flowers in my hand.

Slowly, passengers start to walk into the arriving hall and a few minutes later, y/n walks in.

A big smile spreads on my face. I run to her and when she sees me, she throws herself in my arms.

"Omg I missed you so much.." Y/n says crying. I hold her close to me and a tear runs down my cheek.

"I missed you too babe. So much." I hold her tighter if that's even possible and I'm worried she can't breathe anymore, but she doesn't say anything.

Some people around us look at us and I hear a few "aaww"s here and there. I let go of y/n and grab her face to kiss her. Immediately the smile on my face turns into a worried frown.

"What the hell happened?" I ask worried and caress her injured eye softly with my thumb.

"It's nothing. But let's go home now. Everyone is looking at us." She says. I shake my head no. She sighs. "Shawn.." I look in her eyes, trying to catch any emotions, but the only thing I see is fear. Fear for who?

"Y/n please answer my question. I don't want you the get hurt. You know I'll protect you no matter what, right?" She nods and looks at my chest, laying her hands on it. She strokes little circles.

I flex my muscles because of her touch. God how much I missed her touching me. I look back up at her face and concentrate on her black eye again.

"Y/n...?" She looks up at me and sighs.

"Oké... So I was at the new York airport and my mom had just left and a few fans of yours approached me to ask to make a selfie. I said yes, but suddenly one of them got aggressive and punched my eye. Thank God a security guy saw it happen and immediately took all the girls to the police station." Y/n sighs. "I still have to look at it, but I want to go home now, please."

I blink a few times. A fan of mine got aggressive to my girlfriend. My girlfriend. No...

"Shawn?" She lays a hand on my cheek. The other one stays on my chest. I can't say anything. It's like the wall of trust to my fans is caving in. I'm also mad at myself for not sending any security for her. Of course she needs it just as much as I do. How stupid could I be.

"I'm taking you home. Right now. Let's get your baggage." Y/n just nods. I take her hand and together we make our way out of here.

Once we're in the car, I grab y/n's and pull it closer to me.

"Come here I haven't even kissed you yet." I say smiling. Y/n climbs over the middle consoler and smiles when she sits on my lab.

"Hey handsome." She says.

"Hey beautiful." I smirk and lay one hand on her cheek and one on her hip. I move her closer to me and finally kiss her. I can't discripe how good it feels everytime I kiss her. Once we pull away, y/n puts her arms around me.

"I love you." She whispers. I kiss her gently in her neck.

"I love you too sweetheart."
