Italy's eyes snapped open at the sound of his alarm blaring in his ear. He groans as he turns over to slam the noisy object. 10:00 the clock reads. Italy blinks. Shit there's a world meeting today.

Germany sighed as he watched all the nations argue like children. Honestly he thought. However he noticed the absence of one voice in the room.
"Does anyvone know vhere Italy is?" Germany questioned.
"Non, I have not seen ze lazy Italian." France said from his seat. "Why does it matter if he's here hes not productive when he is." Some other country chimed in. "Si"Spain said "but he is probably fine, most likely gorging himself on pasta and forgot the time." Romano frowned next to him but did not speak up.
"Ja, zat is true. Ve vill have to start ze meeting now zen" Germany said. All of them where unaware that their conversation had been heard.

Italy stood by the door of the meeting room. His honey colored eyes wide. Oh. He thought, so that's how it is. I guess I am a nuisance. Italy's eyes were still wide open and filled with tears but now you could see a sort of resignation in those darkened orbs. That's it, he thought, I'm done, I give up. Italy closed his eyes and ran.
