Chapter 7 "Things Back The Way They Are"

I stayed at Kim's house all night I really didn't want to go back to Jakes but she made me because she didn't know what really happened and she is older than me, she's like a mum a better one than my family.

I was the front door with Kim by my side and I really didn't want to go in so Kim walked right in pulling me along with her like she's been here before.

"Sam Kate's back" I could hear Sam walk in and hug her and then she looked at me with a little smile

"Hello, Sam where is Jake?" Kim asked as I just keep my head down

"He's at college he said he had work to do and Alex's in the other room he missed you Kate go in and see him as I take to Kim OK sweetie"

"O-ok" I walked into the living room and Alex taken one look at me and was in my arms, I fell to the floor and hugged as tears started to fall down my sheak and Alex just hugged me titter

"Don't leave again mum please don't" I could just see a tear fall down his face and I moved it a way with my hand and moved his head to look at me

"Hey stay strong no crying I will never leave you sweetie OK don't ever think I will" I smiled as he sat crossed legged on me and I just smiled back at him taking my phone out so that we can play little games together as we always did

"Kate is everything OK?" Kim said before she walked into the room, Alex his face in my neck "how did you do that?"

"He's been like that to her the day she's come" Sam said from behind her giving me a big smile that I gave back to her, I could hear the door go and I turned around and looked at Alex

"Mum I'm going out with my friend to..." I turned around and he was steering at me then Kim

"Kim what are you doing here I told you never come back" he looked at me with love in his eyes?

"Don't worry I don't like you anymore than you hated me I just made sure Kate got here so you look after her or I will get you got it" Kim come to me and gave me a hug I said thank you and she walked out the house saying good bye to Sam.

"OK you too I'm going to cook some dinner so you two talk got it, come on Alex you can help" Alex smiled and jumped of me waving as I did back, I stayed there on the floor not wanting to turn around.

"Why are you here?" I turned around and hit his chest

"DON'T SAY WHY IM HERE YOUR THE ONE THAT MADE A FACE" he didn't say anything so I just keep end my head down and started to walk out the room.

"WELL I'M NOT THE ONE THAT JUST WALKED OUT" he finally said, I turned around the anger building up inside me.

"DON'T YOU DARE DON'T YOU EVEN DARE" I hit him around the head and was going to do it again but he graded my hand before I could, I tried to pull away but he was too strong

"Kitty why did you go" he said in a low whisper like he didn't want me to hear it.

I looked down at my feet and soon he let my hand go and put his hands around my waist pulling me too him, my wanted to pull away but I didn't have anything in me to not

"We will talk about this latter ok?" I nodded not wanting to say anything and moved away from him. I looked at him and he stared back at me like he was trying to read my mind, well I gave it's really now or never.

"Jake your 22, Alex needs a mum not me and you will get done if anything happened" I was when I could fell the tears start to come down.

"Kitty 'he said coming up to me wiping them away' I don't care how old you are ok! your cute, funny, Alex loves you more than me 'I couldn't help but laugh at that' and your my little angle to helped me more than anyone I know and I will never let you go, so no matter how much people can hate your mine" I stared at him a little shocked and I didn't know what to say and I didn't think I had too my eyes said it all so as his.

"Kitty, Jake food and you best of made up" I smiled at her and gave her a big hug whispering thank you and she gave me a little kiss on my head

Jake sat down and Alex sat next to Sam looking worried at the two of use, I'm telling you has too smart to be a little boy I mouthed 'everything's good' and he smiled again I gave a little laugh and same and Jake looked at us funny

We eat none of us really talking but it was not bad I guess we was just eating too much that was when jakes phone went of

"hello.....no somethings come up may be another time?........yes she's back now get of the line stupid...... fine come tomorrow BYE" with that he hang up "mum bens coming over tomorrow" Sam gave him a are you stupid look and looked at him so did Jake who's face went all white

"sh*t... its ok mum he won't do it again" they looked at each other and I was starting to get mad

"He won't do what they are you two looking at me will someone PLEASE tell me" Jake looked at me like I have never some that before

"He kind of got with my ex" I looked shocked he never said that she was meant to be dead

"Before that kitty you need to stop talking in your head when you're worried it don't work"

I cuddled into him and hold end onto his top as tight as I could as he put his arms around me and pulling me onto his chair, Sam had taken Alex into the living room to play

"he won't get anywhere near you ok?'He said playing with my hair' I will never let him do that to you not again" with that he Holden me tighter and started to scare me

"Jake calm down please" his face softened and kissed my cheash I moved abit away

"Ok sorry but he is a friend now but please stay with me" I nodded and layed my head into his cheast playing with the ends of his stop

"Don't we have college tomorrow I need to start going again I'm getting behind" I said nothing moving

"We will go the day after don't worry" he laid his head over mine and kissed my head

I got of him and made him put his hand in mine pulling him up, I looked at me funny but I just let it go and starting walking out the kitchen Sam smiling with a knowing look 'thank you' I mouthed again and pulled Jake upside with him still with a 'what you doing look'

I got my jeans of and pulled Jake to the bed I got in and laid under yawning

"kitty sleepy then" I giggled and closed my eyes the next minute the bed went and Jake was behind me holding me close to him

I smiled to myself and turned around to get close to him more

"I'm sorry Jake I lo......." before I could say anymore I was fast asleep

Jake waved it off giving kitty a kiss on her nose whispering "love you too" and went to sleep knowing Sam will bring Alex up latter asset is still only 7oclock
