-Day 27 of 100-
Jane's POV
Eleanor decided to stay for a night here. They were supposed to talk to me last night but I was right asleep when they got home - pretended to be, actually. I just don't want to remember anything. I don't want them asking questions.
Hopefully Dustin never mentioned Bella and El having my asthma attack last night. I don't want them being all paranoid. Too much drama.
Instead of going out, I stayed inside my room. Harry didn't even bother checking on me even Zayn. Only Bella, El and Louis. Niall came in too, bringing me food and Liam entertaining me.
I feel like a disabled patient. Maybe it was because of last night or they are just very caring? Either way, I'm thankful.
And why am I even expecting Harry checking up on me? Like, that could happen.
"Jane?" A voice from the outside called.
I cleared my throat, "Yeah? Come in."
The door opened and there came Niall, Louis, Liam, El, Zayn and Bella. They all seem very serious and worried. I was a bit worried too, Bella and Niall not fighting? Holy cow.
They all sat on my bed, Zayn sitting on the bean bag Harry always sat on.
Oh my God. Stop acting like you and Harry are together Jane! You. Are. Just. Friends. Stick that on your forehead.
"How are you?" El asked. I almost laughed at her question.
I scoffed, "I'm fine, El. I'm not paralyzed." I replied. I waited for the door to open and reveal Harry but it never did. I sighed.
"He didn't come home last night." Zayn muttered. I stared at him. "Why didn't you tell me Jane?" He said.
I knit my eyebrows, "What are you talking about Zayn?"
"That you had your asthma last night?" He stood up, "We were worried sick. We just found out this morning from Dustin. He was supposed to visit but you were asleep."
"It's no big deal." I said.
"No big deal? You know how that affects you, Jane. You know it's getting worse." He said. He wasn't angry or mad. It was neutral, he was keeping it in.
Of course I know, but I ignored it as always. "Sorry." I sighed.
He sat beside me and hugged me. I almost teared up. Kidding.
"Wait. What's going on with you two and Jane has asthma? Last night?" Liam asked.
I chuckled, "We're cousins."
They all widened their eyes. Their mouths were open. Obviously, they were shocked.
They asked and asked and asked many questions. Zayn and I answered them all. Bella did too, some.
Harry didn't come home last night. He was with that girl, what did I expect? Oh my God. This is really hopeless.
I guess I should've just set it at like and not at really, really, really like. Whenever you see the one you really, really, really like with a girl or you see him flirting with a girl, it hurts - like hell. It's like you feel like he reciprocates the feelings but the truth is he's just leading you on.
When you like someone - just like. It's just, chill. You know, yes you like him. You like him because he's handsome or because he's funny or something like that. That's it.
"So, Jane's adopted and Zayn is his cousin. Adoptive cousin?" Niall asked.
Bella laughed, "Is there such thing?"
