Chapter 4

Jade sat on her bed on her laptop doing her homework BANG "AHH" Jade screamed she looked to her left and a flash arrow had landed on her wall. She realised she had jumped up on her bed. On the arrow was a note.

"Jade is everything alright" jades mum asked

"yes mum"

"I heard you scream?"

Jade rolled her eyes "err.. just a spider... bye mum" she said her mum then walk away from her door.

Jade pulled the note off the arrow and unfolded it and read it "oh chizz" she sighed. She looked at the arrow and shoved the note in her pocket. "I'm going out mum" she said grabbing her phone.

Jade walked into her favourite milkshake restaurant she walked past two teenagers the girl and boy was whispering, both blonde with blue eyes. The girl was drinking a chocolate milkshake and was covered with dirt and blood. The boy sitting with her looked at jade, the girl joined his stare "is there a problem" the girl said Jade rolled her eyes and went to Becks booth.

"Hey" Beck said

"Hi" Jade muttered.

"so" Beck hinted "why the random meet up, not that I don't enjoy seeing you" he smiled.

"cut it" she said "what was in the envelope"

"what"

she pulled the piece of paper out of her pocket it was folded in half "i'll show you mine if you show me yours"

"that's not fair" he said

"life's not fair Beck" she said loudly "what is in the envelope" she said lowering her voice"

he pulled it out of his pocket you could see where it had been ripped open "you first"

"you wazzbag, the same time"

they swapped letters "i don't understand" said Beck

jade rolled her eyes "the short version they want us to meet them at that old Prison on Friday."

"but it doesn't have a time" he said ripping the papers up.

Jade bit her lip "I bet I know someone who does"
