(August 31th 2017 a.t.b/ 1962 C.E)

Location: Sapporo, Hokkaido

It's now the second day of the Battle of Sapporo and the situation is getting desperate for the Britannians, Andrew is sitting behind cover while the medics are working on his arm

Andrew: God fucking dammit it's like the Nazis with Berlin, but the only thing that is different that we are in Japan not in Germany

Male soldier: Sir friendly forces are engaging the enemy

Andrew: That's fantastic how long until they reach us?

Male soldier: In an hour sir

Andrew: That's just great

Then a female soldier came up to him when the medics finished up

Female soldier: Lance Corporal Witney reporting for duty sir

Andrew: What's the situation Corporal?

Witney: We are fucked sir

Andrew: Jesus fucking Christ

Witney: What do we do sir?

Andrew: We stay defensive and pray to god

Witney: Never took you to be religious sir

Andrew: I'm not Corporal, I will never be religious go back to your unit and get ready to break out

Witney: Sir yes sir

Then a fellow kataphakt pliot then approach him

Male voice: Sir

Andrew: What's the status of our mechs Lieutenant Jones

Jones: Most of our mechs are 57% operational most are destroyed

Andrew: Our pliots?

Jones: 70% of pliots still combat effective

Andrew: We lost that much

Jones: Well it's not much if you think about most of the pliots are wounded

Andrew: Is there any pliots that are not wounded

Jones: Including myself it's about 24% of pliots are combat able sir

Andrew: Just fucking great dismissed Lieutenant

Jones: Sir salutes

Andrew: (talking to no one) I hope they get here on time

???: Sir I've got the count for the soldiers

Andrew: Well PFC Sigma read it out to me

Sigma: Well sir from the 16500 soldiers including me and you we've lost 46% sir

Andrew: punches wall God dammit, it's ok Private continue please

Sigma: We have 7590 soldiers left, and 12% of them are wounded sir but they can still fight

Andrew: So we roughly have 910 men and women in this perimeter

Sigma: Sounds about right sir

Andrew: So we almost lost everybody, so you're saying we are basically combat ineffective

Sigma: Yes sir

Andrew: Thank you for giving me this information Sigma, you should get back to your unit

Sigma: Sir walks out

Andrew: sits on the ground We lost all those people, I was leading them they gave their lives for this and they trusted their souls to me.

Witney: (In the distance) Incoming Britannian forces

Every able body person was picking up their rifles or anything rather to fight off the Britannians, but the unexpected happened their relief forces arrived, then every soldier cheered Jess saw the shape Andrew was in and dismounted her titan and hugged him

Andrew: About time you showed up

Jess: I had to round up the rest of our force

Andrew: Really now? I thought 'The Great Duchess of the Snow' will have more of an edge

Jess: Yeah unlike 'The Darkness of Anchorage' will be the any better. What happened to you? *worried tone*

Andrew: A stray KMF round nicked me even though those rounds are huge, they almost took my arm off

Jess: I can see that kisses Andrew I'm glad that you're safe

Andrew: kisses back Yeah but we now have Hokkaido under our flag. Now we go and try to rescue whats left of the JLF

Jess: pout Mou why does the objective have to be that?

Andrew: Well it's better to have the remnants of the Japanese military then a rag tag group of people to fight Britannia
