Kicked out!?

Thalia POV
I turned cold and looked her dead in the eye, " Why?" I whisper and Artemis looks guilty " why now right after I've just lost some of my closest friends!? Why now when a war has just ended!? I thought you trusted me! I depended on you! You were a figure I could look up to and now I'm being kicked out?" I shout and Artemis cuts me off.
" Thalia I'm sorry but we have just lost too many hunters with you in control" I stare at her in disbelief, tears stung my eyes
"Then where were you? You weren't helping us I did the best I could! Stuff it don't bother kicking me out cause I quit! I can't believe I called you family" I say and walk out, tears ran down my cheeks as I started to run towards the forest when I bump into someone, or two people talking " Thalia are you ok?!"I hear Annabeth's voice,
" I'm fine just leave me alone" I snap and push past and I'm grabbed by the wrist and pulled back, " Thalia who ever hurt you needs a punch in the face now tell me what happened" Annabeth demands I wipe my tears ashamed I let someone see me that way, " Artemis kicked me-" I stop mid sentence when a dizziness comes over me and I'm caught by someone I can't really see her face though.
" Thalia? Thalia come one stay with us" I hear muffled voices and I feel like I'm being carried.
Soon my vision clears and a pain shoots through my head, groaning I sit up from where I am, I look around and Annabeth, another girl and Will are standing there. "Are you feeling ok Thalia? Percy and Jason are outside" Will asks and I nod.
" yeah sorry that must've been Artemis taking away my immortality" I say and Annabeths eyes blaze in fury.
" SHE KICKED YOU OUT!?" She yells and Will gets mad shushing her. I gave a weak smile and I look at the other girl who was eyeing me as if calculating me to see if I was an enemy. " I'm Thalia, who are you?" I ask and she snaps out of a daze.
" Reyna, Praetor of Rome, I brought you to the infirmary" she gives me a hand to shake and I shake staring her up and down.
" Don't be so tense Praetor, I don't bite" I smirk and she rolls her eyes.
" well Thalia I guess you should get your stuff from the hunters, do want us to-?" Annabeth asks and I shake my head, not meeting her eyes.
"I have to do this Annie, I'll be back once I've gotten my stuff and put it in Zeus cabin" I respond cutting her off and I stand up letting my body adjust to standing. Walking to the Hunters cabin I walk in and all eyes were on me, I stare at all of them, they all share one look pity, pity for why I got kicked out, pity for never going back. Closing my eyes I sigh and take my stuff and open them again and I walk out not even looking them in the eye, from then on I'd probably be invisible to them.

I don't need the hunters, like I said before I missed camp. I'll be fine.

I walk out and put my stuff in the Zeus cabin when Jason walks in " hey Thals, you feeling ok? I see your moving in" he notices and I nod
" yeah expect pranks"
" you know what you and Leo would actu- never mind" he starts happily and then his face fell and he looked away thinking of his past friend, I pat his shoulder and ruffle his hair.
" I'm sure he died in peace Jase, he wouldn't want you to be sad, that idiot would probably want you screaming Mcshizzle every time you say his name" I chuckle and he nods smiling a little. Walking back out with Jason I felt happier things wouldn't be so bad.
" Hey Jason! This is from camp Jupiter as a good bye present tomorrow they are heading back with Hazel and frank, I have to stay to deal with a few matters with Chiron" Reyna informs walking up to us
" ok thanks Reyna, have you met Thalia?" Jason asks and I nod a little confused.
"How do you know him?" I ask eyebrow raised,
" Jason and were former praetors together, how do you know Jason?" She replies and I nod and smirk
" bet pipes wasn't happy with that" I mutter under my breath, my lord the amount of gossip the Aphrodite cabin must've gotten.
" um yeah Jason's my brother"
"You mean half brother"
" nope brother, flesh and blood, well maybe not flesh but whatever"
" and you didn't bother telling me this Jason?" Reyna asks eyebrows raised in his direction, he gulps and runs away, I snicker.
" don't worry I'll beat him up later" I promise chuckling.
" I'll join you" she smiles and we start up a conversation, Reyna was actually quite fun to talk to I expected.
Soon the conversation ended in a " how did Jason get that scar on his lip anyways?"
" when he was two he tried eat a stapler, I was telling him ' Jason put the stapler down' but he didn't listen! It was the funniest thing cause then he bit down and I saw a drop blood and I had to get the staple out with sucked because he was an absolute cry baby" I ramble and she chuckles quietly.
She checks the time, " I better head off, I have a meeting with the Council of Cloven Elders about helping a section of the forest that was burnt off, Chiron requested I do it because he feels a Greek might start laughing at some of the things they say" she laughs and I smile knowingly, " alright and say to the one called Grover , that 'I miss him a dam lot' I smirk and she nods obviously not really getting the reference, why would she?
I smile to myself, I feel like I would get along well with the Praetor.
