Chapter 4

Brookes pov

I woke up at 8:30, i got ready and let checks out and everything i needed to do. I hopped in my truck and drove to DP. I walked in, and Garrett walked to my side. "Did you tell them."

"Why would i do that."

"How does Ty know."

"Security cameras." We both said

"Video." Cody says, we walk to the big screen and watch the video. I sat in the back and watched it, i seen some of them glance back at me and back to the screen. When it was done, they clapped. I walked to the screen.

"How old are you."

"22." I said

"Your good."

"Wait you didnt make this video did you." Garrett asked and pulled a video up on YouTube, and it was the music video, for my song and it was about Cory."

"I made that when i was 15. I wrote a song and it was called, you'll never notice." I said and they watched it. I seen Cory look back at me. It was over and they were surprised, expect Coby. I showed it to Coby, he knew how i felt about him.

"Brooke." Cory said

"Huh." I said

"You made that and its about me, isn't  it."

"No."

"Lair, why didnt you tell me."

"I was trying to before we ledt, but you yelled at me agian about talking about us spliting up on college. Well guess what, we did cause you didn't care. I was hurt, for so long."

"How was i supposed to know ypu where trying to tell me sowmthing differnt."

"Listen and dont freak out right away."

"Why do you care so much right now." He asked, i looked around.

"I loved you okay, but did anyone think i would fall for my best friend, that was there when my parents died, our my sister died. NO, nobody did." I said and i ran out and ran to my office. I heard a knock, "who is it."

"Garrett."

"Come in." I said and he walked in and sat in the chair next to mine.

"Im not going to get fried, right."

"No, we need you to much. Ty, wouldn't do that since he knows you like it here."

"When does Cory get married."

"This weekend, oh before i left to talk to you, Coby gave me this." He said and gave me a card, it was an invitation to Corys wedding.

"You going."

"I'll go with you, I'm not going by my self." I said and he shook his head

"Hey Brooke, you okay." Tyler asked

"I'm fine."

"Corys, leaving to get ready for his wedding."

"His choice."

"Yeah." Tyler said, we walked to the basketball court, where the boys playing basketball. "Here Brooke." Coby said and passed me the ball.  I shot it from 5 feet off the court and i made it.

"Hold up." Tyler said

"You made that." Cody says

"Yeah, i always did that with the twins."

"Why didn't you make it into a career."

"Not what i wanted to do." I said

"Is there something you cant do." Garrett

"Love someone." I whispered, so nobody noticed

"Huh." Garrett asked

"Nothing." I said

I went back to my office and i just sat there. Garrett walked in, "seeming you are starting to like to me."

"Funny, where going to the lake house, since there's nothing here. Tyler wants to know if you want to come with us."

"Sure, why not." I said, grabbed my stuff and walked out. "The directions,  to the house." Tyler said and handes it to me.

"This is the address."

"Yeah, why."

"Our lake house is down there to, but we haven't used it in a couple years."

"Told ya." Coby says

"Shut up."

"See you there then."i said, i drove to my house, got my swimsuit and put shorts on. I decided to take Checks with me. I put her in the passenger seat and we started to drive to thwrw lake house. We got there, i took her out and went to were the boys were.

"Hey." Cody says

"Thats checks, they were fixing the pool in my backyard, so i took her."

"It's fine." Garrett says. They had a lake, a pool. Its amazing, even if mine is mostly the exact same.

Tyler grilled, i got pushed into the pool about 5 times and i had fun. I sat next Garrett and for some odd reason there where fireworks.
