Chapter 9

Last chapter
"You have 2 minutes to wake up. You have to run down the hall to the light and open it before that line goes straight." Her dad says. I unhook the machines and the 2 minutes start now. I run down the hall and i have 5 seconds left.  I slide into the door and open it and the first thing i hear is.........

Corys pov

The first thing i hear is "call a doctor." I look around and i see my family looking at me. I look at the montier and its still going. I motioned for my sister to come to me. "Call Brooke and the guys." I whsipered amd she left to go do that. My wife walked over to me amd tried to touch me but i didnt let her. The doctor walked in and he was surprised.

"I'm gonna admit, I'm surprised hes looking at us right now, and listening. Hes gonna be fine, and he can leave tommorow after his chest x ray tonight. I see Brooke run in and the boys following behind her. I looked at my sister and she shook her head. I looked at my brother and he shook his head.

"Brooke, can i tell you something." I said and she walked over to me

"Dont do it Cory." My mom said

"Do what." Garrett said all worried, i alughed to mt self.

"Okay, Brooke, i have always liked you, but mt parents over there made me not tell you. I hated my self for never standing up to my parents and tell you, but.."

"Why tell me now."

"I talked to your parents when i was you know sleeping. You know they whatch over everything we do amd they found out the two peopel we think that care about us actually dont because there sleeping together behind our backs."

"Really." The boys, Brooke, my  parents,  my sister all said together

"How do my parents look."

"There fine, there up there. There the ones that actually told me to do this."

Everybody left, expect for my twin, my sister, and Brooke. Of course.

"We'll come back tommorow to check on you guys." Cory said and they hugged us. They left, i looked at Brooke.

"Hey, come here." I said, and she sat right next to me. 

"Do you mean the words, our are you just trying to get your best friend back by saying that." She asked, i kissed her lips and a little bit later she kissed back.

"Answer your question." I said and she smiled, i put my arm around her and we watched TV. I went for x ray and I'm already to leave tommorow.
When i got back she was sleepimg on the couch.

"Dont want to interfer, but she really does like you. She cares about you uaw she would do to soemone she likes or loves. Shes a keeper, wish i had on like that." The nurse said

"Dont we all." I said, i watched TV untill I fell asleep.

The next day
Brookes pov

I woke up to people talking, i looked and it was the twins and there sister. "Good morning." Cory said

"Whats going on." I said stretching

"I have to work." There sister says

"I have to do something for the guys."

"And."

"You have to watch him." They say and i smile.

"Can we go, i relly dont  hospitables."

"Yeah." Coby said. I pushed him on the wheel chair and went to my truck. He sat on in the front and i started to drive back to my house.

I help him our of the truck and walk up to the door. I unlocked it and Checks jumped on me. "Sit Checks." I said

"Stay here, I'm gonna go change, and I'll be right back." I said to him, i walked up the atairs and he yelled

"I'm not a baby."

"Well, to bad."

"Funny. "

I changed, i brought down a dude perfect sweatshirt and gave it to Cory to chamge into. I walked to the kitchen and made me a smoothie.

"What do you want to do."

"Sit on the couch and watch TV. "

"Sure, and just ask the question."

"I'm not evwn divorced yet."

"Please, I've waited over 5 years." I said

"Will you be my girlfriend." He asked, i sat next to him and he kissed me.

We where watching the thundermans and my phone rang. I loooed at it ans it was Tyler. "Hey Ty, whats up."

"You home."

"Yeah, why."

"Can you watch Barreet. Bethany and i want a date night."

"Sure why not."

"Thanks, we'll be there soon." He said and hung up.

"Whats up."

"Where watching Barrett."

"Tylers kid." Cory asked and i shook my head

"Yeah, he says they want a date night." I said and a knock on the door appered. I went to open it. I invited them in.

"Hey Cory, how are you."

"A little bit better thanks for asking."

"Cory." Barrett said and ran to give him a hug. I smiled

Corys pov

Barrett came and gave me a hug and i seen Brooke smile. They left a little bit later and Barrett stayed with us. I looked at the clock and it was 6.

"What do you want to do Barrett." I asked him

"I dont know."

"Brooke." I said and she came around the corner

"Yeah."

"Do you still have the xbox i gave you." I asked and Barrett looked at me

"Yeah."

"Where."

"In front of you." She said, i looked and it was. She walked back to what she was doing.

"You gave her an xbox."

"When i was younger.."

"And before we went to college." Brooke said

"Your Brooke." Barrett said and she shook her head

"Makes since now." He said and Brooke sat next to me. We palyed on the xbox till abput 10 and Barret sleep in the guest room and we headed to her room.

"Somethings bothering you." I said

"Nothing is bothering me." She said and laid down on the bed

"Ok."

"Ok." She said and turned the light off and went to bed.

A couple hours later

Brooke would not stop moving around. When she turned to face me i granbed her hands and looked at her. She shook her head and i pulled her into me and gave her a hug. "Its okay Brooke, there doing great and they love you." I said and kissed her forehead

"Then why did they leave me."

"I can't answer that. Now get some rest." I said and we fell asleep after that.
