Chapter 15

6 years later
Brookes pov

So Aaron and emma are 6 years old and starting school. Cory and i have been married for 7 years. These past years have been the best and yeah we had promblems but fixed them. "Mom." I hear Emma yell

I walk to her room and shes sitting on her bed, in her pjs. "Emma, what's wrong."

"Im scares mom, i dont want to go."

"Lets pick out a cute outift and go down stairs ans eat dads famous pancakes. Deal."

"Okay." We went to her closet and pucjes out a cute dress, with flowers on it. I put a white headband in her hair and we walk down stairs.

"Good morning bubbs. You ready for school."

"I'm nervous."

"Your sister is too, your lucky you get to experience it with each other." I said

"Good morning babe."

"Good morning." I say and we kiss. My phone goes off and it said Cobys name.

"Doesn't Garrett, and Codys daughter and son start 1st grade today." I asked Cory

"I think. I know Codys daughter starts today. I'm not sure about Garretts son."

"Mom, dad what grade did you guys become best friends." Aaron asked

"Well you see Mr. i was the most popluar in our class grade, so we knew who each other where, but we didnt bexome best friends untill 4 th grade."

"Dishes in sink, grab backpack, and head out to the truck. Mom amd dad has to go to work." Cory said and i put Checks in her cage.  Yeah i forget we still have Checks but hes pretty big now.

We hop in the truck and i help Emma buckle and Cory helped Aaron. If you haven't noticed Emmas a moms girl and Aarons a dads boy.

"Ok, babies, have an awesome day. We'll pick you up after school is over." I said and we unbulcked them.

"Love you guys, have an awesome day." Cory said

"By mom and dad." Aaron and Emma said and walked in school. We drove to the head quarters. I went to my office and John was there.

"Your late." He said and i looked at my watch

"No, im on time for the time we xan get here. You have to be in work before us."

"Why."

"We have kids, but most of us dont get here until this time, so you dont have to come in really early jist come in like 30 minutes ealier then when we start." I said

"Huh, get to work."

We filmed, edited, had fun and now its time to pick the kids up from school. "How do you think it went." Cory asked me holding my hand

"I dont know babe. I'm scared."

We got to the school and they hopped in, we buclked him and Emma told us all about her day, but Aaron didnt.

We got hom and Aaron went to his room, i looked at Cory. We ran up stairs and went to his bedroom. We sat next to him and he cried into his dads shoulder.

"What happed bubs."

"I never want to go to school anymore." He yelled, he had a horrible day as a 1st grader

"If you tell us Aarong, we'll try to help."

"Emma knew i was nervous. She knew i didn't have any friends, she said she'll stay with me all day but she left me to hang with her friends." He said

"You told us you made a lot of friends last year." Cory asked him

"I lied, i didn't want you to think i was lonely." He said, we both hugged him

"Ill go talk to emma, cory make supper.  Why dont you go help daddy make supper." I said, we walked down stairs and Emma was sitting on the couch.

"Mom, dad you wont believe what happened today."

"You left your brother even if you knew he was scared."

"But mom."

"Emma, your siblings. He told you he needed your help but you ingorned it. You two need to stick together,  when you grow up you'll discover lifes hard and you need someone to go with you." Cory said

"Dad." Emma said and stormed off

"You know, who she reminds me of."

"Who."

"You as a teenager." He said, i laughed then thought

"If shea me as a teenager now, how will she me as a real teenager."
