The date was changed for the talent show which gave us time to practice. It was tonight, my mom must have taken the week shift. "I'll pick you up in 10 minutes." James told me. "Ok, I'll see you soon. " I said. we hang up. I got ready and started to practice my parts. A few moments late I got an anonymous text. 'hi' the text said, I texted back. 'Who is this?' I asked.  'Someone.'  it answered back. 'This isn't funny' I texted. There was no answer for a while. Then James came in. "You ok?" He asked me. "Yes, I'm fine." I told him. I still wanted to know who that was.

"Amy." James Said. "Yes?" I answered him. "Promise me if this man shows up, you'll let me by your side. James said firmly. "I don't know." I told him.  "please I can't lose you." He said placing his hands on my head looking into my eyes. I started getting teary. "I promise.' I told him.  He nodded and took my hand as we went to the car and left to the talent show. 

10-15 minutes later 

We got there Amber was on stage getting ready to sing. We gave her a thumbs up.

Everyone clapped for her we were all excited and proud of Amber. Nick whistled and clapped louder than any of us. "Yeah, that's my girl woo!" Nick shouted. she came backstage we all hugged her and smiled.
