Chapter 1

🚨Real quick before we start, this fanfic is following the manga and not the anime, so there will be spoilers, you have been warn. Also, Im not starting from the begining of the anime, Im jumping to the first big incident so I suggest either watch or read so you can know whats happening.

Miyu POV

I sigh as I look out the window of the plane, flying through the clouds gave me a calm feeling. I try not to think what got me to this point in life... running in fear basically... I shake my head, getting rid of any negative thoughts. The pilot announced we were going to be landing soon, now the hard part...escaping... Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm a stowaway in a cargo plane... hehe...

Once the plane landed, I hid in one of the boxes. I heard voices and moving boxes. I tried very hard to stay quick but someone grabbed my box and dropped me... I rolled out of the box and stared back at the bewildered workers, well they did just witness a girl with wolf ears and tail roll out a box... I stood up and dusted my shirt and shorts off and checked that my backpack is on before booking it.

"AFTER HER!!!" Someone yelled.

I use my wolf-like speed to escape them but with my sensitive hearing I hear sirens already on their way. Just about 4 miles out. 'Shit... that was fast..' I thought. Multiple footsteps were behind me as I continued to run, where? I have no idea! I see police cruisers heading my direction, about to corner me. I weighed my options and decided to let myself be captured. Who knows, I could get off easy...

"Freeze!" An officer yelled pointing his gun at me.

I stayed calm and tried not to growl. I hate being challenged but this is not in my favor... The workers that were chasing also stopped, and put their hands up.

"Sir, we found this girl hiding in one of the boxes in a cargo plane! She fell out and ran!" A worker yelled. A plain looking man in a detective jacket stepped forward.

"Miss, if you please come with us, I'd like to ask you a few questions..." he said with a smile, trying to be friendly. I kept my face blank and nodded. He gesture for me to get in the car.

We drive for a while till we made it to the police station. Once inside, an officer took my stuff and lead me to an interrogating room. They left me alone with my thoughts.

'I know they're watching me... sigh... I just hope to get out of this in one piece...' I thought as I paced the room and, eventually sat down and rested my head. My ears laid against my head as I snoozed off for a few minutes. They then perked up at the sound of the door opening and the aroma of cookies filled my sensitive nose. The detective from before entered the room with a plate in his hands. He sat down and put the plate in front of me. I stared at the plate then at him.

"Hello there, I'm Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa. Don't worry, they're plain chocolate chip, and they're for you." He said with a smile, showing that he means no harm.

I slowly grabbed one and broke it in half. I handed the other half to him as a peace offering. He looked surprised but took the cookie. We both eat it and the mood wash comfortable. I continued to eat as the mood shifted as he got serious...

"Now miss, I'm going to ask you some questions and I need you to answer truthfully, okay?" He said.

"Okay..." I said softly.

"What is your name? And where are you from?"

"I'm from here... and my name is... Miyu.." I paused and looked at him. He nodded, encouraging me to keep going. I sighed softly and looked down.

"Miyu.... Takeshita..." I peaked my eyes through my bangs as I saw his shocked face.

"Takeshita?! Wait... who are your parents..?" He asked cautiously. I looked him in the eye.
