~*~ A/N at the end~*~
Miyu's POV
I walked quickly to the station as I tried to balance my umbrella and bag in one hand, and my wallet and breakfast in the other. I lived close to the school but I still can take the train to get there faster, because this rain today is ridiculous. I managed to catch the train and wolf down my breakfast before that. I put on my custom earphones and listen to some music while reading through some hero news or whatever. I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned to a tall man standing behind me, I take an earphone out.
"Hey you're that girl from the Sports Festival at U.A., right?! The one that transformed into a wolf and has electric powers?!!" He said excitedly, many people turned to look at me and got excited as well. My ears pull back in embarrassment. I smiled shyly.
"Yea, I am... But I got out of the second event cause I lost control so..." I said feeling a little ashamed. The man smiled kindly at me and patted my shoulder.
"It's alright, that's why you're in school, right? To learn from your mistakes and better yourself and learn to control your quirk. Hope you become a great hero one day." He smiles cheerfully at me. I stared at the stranger in wonder. This stranger is hoping for me to be a great hero just from watching me on tv. I smiled gratefully at him.
"Thank you for the advice and even though I don't know you, I won't let you down," I said bowing slightly, 'cause of the cramped space. He chuckled at me as he waved goodbye, getting off at his stop. I walked to school in a hurry to get out of the rain. When I made it to class, everyone was chatting about being recognized by people on the streets.
"Hey Miyu, did you get recognized by fans, too?" Eijiro asked me as I walked by. I grinned at him and nodded.
"Yea, I did! I think everyone did, to be honest. Makes you realize how great and famous this school is." I said everyone who listened in nodded in agreement.
"All these grade-schoolers told me I made a good effort," Seto said pathetically. I watched the reruns of the Sports Festival and saw what I missed, so I felt bad for him. Speaking of, when I saw how the firecracker won and received his medal, I laughed so hard because I didn't expect any less from him. The bell rang and we all quickly sat down before Aizawa sensei came in.
"Morning." He said sluggishly. He had his bandages off finally. He had a good crescent moon shape scar next to his right eye.
"Good to see your bandages off, Aizawa sensei," Tsu-chan commented.
"The old lady's treatment was excessive, but never mind that. Today we've got hero informatics class. And a special one at that," He paused, everyone tensed waiting for him to continue. "You'll be coming up with your hero aliases." Everyone got up and cheered, while someone yelled something about how it's their time to shine. Sensei silenced everyone with his quirk in a second. He goes off to talk about pro drafting he mentioned the other day. Basically, it's based on who the pros think will be ready to join work hero workforce after another two or three years of experience. If they show interest that's a good thing, but any and all offers could be immediately revoked. So if we're picked now, that just gives us a better chance of going independent or getting into an agency.
"Now, here're the complete draft pick numbers." He said, pulling up a graph on the board. "There's typically more of a spread, but our top two stole most of the spotlight." Showing Todoroki in first with the most picks and the hothead in second with the second most picks. Surprisingly, I see my name with 93 picks, right behind Momo.
"GAH! They're in a whole other league!" Denki said.
"Didn't they get first and second backward?" Eijiro asked.
