"Y/N! Y/N! Care to comment on your relationship with Richard Camacho?"

"Y/N! What is it like to be suddenly in the spotlight?"

"Y/N! Are you dating Richard to promote your new song?"

That last one got to me, and I was tempted to turn around and have a smack down, but Richard grabbed my hand at the last minute, pulling me up under his arm and away from that bothersome reporter.

"Hey," Richard whispered, "It isn't worth it to get into a brawl with some asshole Paparazzi reporter,"

Sighing, I knew he was right. I turned around and grabbed his hand that hung from my shoulder. "I just hate that is what they all think about me, R,"

"I know, mi amor, but we can't help what they think right now. We just gotta prove them wrong." He gave me a soft smile, pulling me closer and pressing a kiss to my forehead.

After we had successfully managed to shove our way through the crowd of nosy reporters, we piled into our vehicle that took us to the studio, where I was recording my new single.

I walked into the recording booth, ready to give the song my all, since it was incredibly special to me. From his seat on the couch outside the booth, Richard gave me a big toothy smile and a thumbs up, mouthing kill it, tiger.

Grinning, I gave him a thumbs up back and prepared myself for the start of the music. When it started, I took a breath in and started to sing.

What does it take, to get it through your head?

What can I say, to make you go  away?

Oh baby I ain't about those sad days,

The cold gaze, as you break my heart,

I am not a fool, I am not a tool, to use when you are down

I'm all about that Empowerment, baby

     Oh yeah, that Empowerment, baby

After the recording session, I walked out of the booth and jumped into Richard's arms, laughing as he spun me around before setting me down and giving me a quick peck on the lips.

"What did you think, baby?" I asked.

"I think," He pecked my lips again," That that song is poppin', and I am so damn proud of you," He smiled.

I smiled and gave him one last kiss. "God, I can't wait to release it,"

"You know, Y/N, that song is the embodiment of who you are as a person. That song is a hit, and you wouldn't need me, or anyone else, to make it happen for you. Screw what the paparazzi say, baby. You don't need me, you're a star all on your own."

Hey guys! Hope you liked this one, for all you Richard stans ;) I am open to doing requests, so if you would like to request an imagine, DM me!
