MJ: N-No, I can take care of it myself.. ugh.. *groans*
MJ walked towards the beach house, leaving a guilty-looking Erica and Mary, who held a look of disappointment, and glanced at the former.
Mary: Erica..
Erica: *gulps*
Mary: *points to the now frozen water* Kneel.
Erica: L-look, fair maiden, I-I didn't mean to, I mean-
Mary: Kneel.
Erica: ...Yes, as you wish. *walks over to the frozen water and kneels on it*
Mary: Tsk, tsk, tsk. I expected better than that. Coming from someone like you, that behavior is absolutely unacceptable, Eri.
Erica: *looks down*
Mary: What am I going to do with you?! What if that damage could've been more severe? What if she got major injuries because of it? Because of you! *points to Erica, making her flinch*
Erica: ...
Mary: *sigh* Eri... *rubs her temples* That was cheating.
Erica: *closes eyes* ...I apologize, fair maiden.
Mary: Don't apologize to me, apologize to MJ! *points to the beach house*
Erica: *flinches* Yes, I will do just that.
Mary: Good. *crosses arms* I'm mad at you for hurtin' her, so don't talk to me for a few minutes and think about what you've done. *walks away*
And so, Mary left Erica. She spun on her heel and walked away from the blonde, leaving her with her own thoughts, oblivious to the longing stare that Erica held for her. She continued walking away until she got to the beach house and was about to knock, until she heard shouting. Those two familiar voices... MJ and Princess?
Mary: *tilts head* I thought those two agreed not to argue, even if it's just for today...
Suddenly, the noise died down, and was replaced by sounds of sobbing, making Mary's eyes widen.
Mary: Well, I suppose the cards were right.. not that they were wrong before but.. *gasp*
She then heard a faint moan, being muffled by the door, and she slowly smiled.
Mary: Love is such a beautiful thing... I shouldn't interfere with them.
Mary walked away from the door and decided that Erica's time is up. She walked back to where Erica was knelt, and raised a brow when she found the blonde seated on that same spot, but with her legs tucked close to her chest, with the lower part of her face rested behind her knees and her hands secured around her legs as her eyes looked at the sand in front of her. Mary shook her head and smiled softly before approaching Erica who was most likely sulking.
Mary: What did we learn today?
Erica: ...Never cheat..
Mary: Good gal. *pats Erica's head* Now stand up. We still have a few hours before dinner. The sun is almost down, too. Wanna watch it together?
