Narrator's POV

Once upon a time, lived a young witch named Mary inside her little hut, located deep inside the forest of dreams. The kingdom of Tresmoran Element can be found next to this forest, with tall walls built around it, and a huge gate that's being heavily guarded at every second of the day.

This witch had purple hair, who had strikingly gorgeous blue eyes as bright as the sky. Her pale pinkish skin stood out against her dark purple robe. She had droopy eyes, and would give off a sense of welcoming when you look at them, as gentle and as caring as her personality. But people wouldn't see it. They refuse to take a long enough stare to take in the witch's breathtaking appearance. They all believed that it was all a mask, to hide the real her, the dark and sinister side which she swore never to show again. And they weren't wrong, but they're not exactly right, either.

The witch lived alone, no one to be with, no one to care. Using her powers, she had built a dome around her hut, making sure that no one is able to enter it but her. She lived a sad life, sure, but it was a peaceful one. A life where she's free to be herself, without the interference of those cursed humans.

She sighed. For the umpteenth time today her stomach growled and her body began to crave for something to eat, pleading to her. The forest was going extinct of animals because of those hunters. Really, what came to her mind when she chose to move here? Next to a kingdom..what was there to be found, anyway? Not like there was anything interesting, especially if a giant wall is blocking your view. So what was the point? And then, she saw it. She looked outside her window and upwards, her gaze fixing on top of the wall where a figure stood. Their cape was being blown by the window and they held a stern gaze, their cyan eyes filled with determination. Their blonde hair stood out amidst of their sky blue uniform. This made the witch smile. Everyday, she would look out her window at the exact same time just to see the same knight with the same stance, gazing at the far ends of the forest, she assumed. This time however, she was shocked to see the knight look down and stare back at her. And as if it wasn't enough of a surprise she smiled at her. A true, genuine smile. After a while, the knight waved at her and soon jumped off of the wall and back down on land, leaving the witch with her own thoughts.

'What was that all about..?' She initially thought as she covered her mouth with her gloved hand and blushed. 'Strange..she looked back at me..our eyes met..I was too much in shock to find out what she was thinking..' She removed her hand and looked down on her hands, clenching it as she made her decision.

"Right. I'll go into town and find her myself." As she said that, she heard her stomach grumble. "...or maybe pick up something to eat first."

"Collins."

"Yes, your highness?"

In front of the ice knight stood the princess herself, a scowl on her face and her eyes showing fury.

"Where have you been today?!"

"I apologize, your highness. Thy have been tasked to do another raincheck on the land, to see if anyone is coming our way." She bowed, her hand on her chest, showing how sorry she was. But the princess knew it was a lie.

"Ugh, you and your excuses!! You're not fit to be my fiancé if you can't even tell me the truth! You're planning on going out again, weren't you?! I ordered flame face to keep an eye out on you, and she told me that you were standing on the wall again!" This statement made the knight flinch and she clenched a fist behind her back.
