MJ walked down the (miraculously quiet) hallways and made a left turn, bumping straight into a slightly taller (but younger) redhead.
MJ: Hey, watch it P!
She didn't need to look up to know who it was. Princess stood in front of her with a stoic look, although the sweat that she had by the side of her face indicated that she was nervous about something. The redhead was avoiding her girlfriend's gaze without turning her head.
Princess: S-sorry about that.
MJ: *raises an eyebrow* You never used that tone on me..actually, you never even apologized to me before! *looks at her weirdly* What's wrong? Did Hannah snuck in some kind of poison in her cupcakes?
Princess: *rolls eyes and chuckles* Idiot...it's your day, of course I gotta be nicer. *looks away blushing*
MJ: *blushes slightly* R-right...I'm glad you remember..
Princess: O-of course I would...actually...here.
Princess revealed what she's been hiding behind her back the whole time, a small box wrapped in a bright pink paper, a red bow topping it off. She held it out to MJ, which the older girl wordlessly took and opened it, seeing an obviously expensive necklace that'll surely cost her half her own life savings if she were to buy it. She took it out of the box and held it up high; a silver necklace with an 'MJ' pendant, embedded with small yet shining gems that had a glint of pink when shined upon.
Princess: *blushing redder* I saw you looking at one of those the other day, so...I hope you like it.
MJ: *sniffles* Are you kidding me? I love it!! H-how much did this thing even cost?!
Princess: Ehh...I don't really know, I used daddy's credit card for that one..
MJ: *tearing up* Rich bastard... *sniffs* I still love you though.
Princess: *smiles lovingly* I love you too. Want me to help you put it on?
MJ: *nods*
Princess went behind the slightly smaller senior and put the necklace on her, locking it by her nape after lifting up her raven hair.
MJ: It's beautiful, P...thank you...
Princess: *hugs her from behind* Of course, anything for you.
Erica: OH WOULD YOU TWO JUST KISS ALREADY?!
Oh, they forgot; they were near the clubroom door. Out from that said door peeked out the heads of a smirking Erica and Tristan who held a smug look, and both were ready to tease their younger friend.
Princess: *became a living tomato who can only stutter*
MJ: *smirks* Gladly. *turns around and kisses Princess*
All-in-all, this had a been a beautiful birthday for MJ.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MJ! Sorry this didn't come out on time for her actual bday, but school was hell..oh well..crap that lecture about poems and rhymes had me going nuts.
Anyway, to celebrate, a oneshot will be out soon; hopefully by next week. It will feature something special between our bday gal and her redheaded lover, so stay tuned~!
