Hello

Meredith closed her charts and walked away as Derek and Mark stared in disbelief. Right as Meredith had pushed the up button on the elevator, Addison appeared behind Mark and Derek. "Hi, boys." says addison. "Oh um hello Addison" remarks Mark. "I think im going to catch the elevator" says Derek. Addison stared as he walked away. Mark chuckles to himself as Addison says "What were you two saying?" keeping her eye on Derek. "Oh nothing. nothing at all" says mark.

"Hello" intrudes Derek as he and Meredith are waiting patiently for the elevator. "Hello" Meredith repeats. Then they both step into the elevator, Addison watching from behind. 
DS: And what might your name be?MG: Meredith. 
DS: Do you have a last name Meredith? 
MG: I do not usually give out my last name.
DS: So, does that mean I will have to find it out myself? ( curiously asks derek ).
MG: Yes, Dr. Shepherd. 
(meredith chuckles)
Meredith walks out of the elevator, turns around and looks derek in the eyes.
derek looks up into her eyes.
MG: Goodbye, Dr. Shepherd.
DS: Goodbye Intern Meredith.

Derek walks into the NICU.
DS: I was paged for a Nuero consult.
AMS: Premi baby, Sarah Grey, 3 pounds 5 ounces. subdural hematoma.
derek picks up the baby.
DS: Oh baby, we better get you up to surgery, huh?
Cristina Yang walks in.
CY: will i be prepping for a subdural?
DS: yes. OR in 15
derek walks out.

DS: So, I have seen you around with Meredith.
CY: Grey?
DS: Grey, as in Ellis Grey?
CY: yeah, i know im best friends with a surgical legends daughter.
CY: wait, you know meredith?
DS: tiny beautiful light brown hair with quite irresistible eyes. yes, i know her.
CY: Wait, Grey.
DS: What?
CY: Sarah... Grey?
DS: does Meredith have family?
CY: mother obviously, father abandoned them at 5.
DS: wow.
CY: yeah, dont involve mer though. its already hard enough for her.

Mark and Derek after surgery
MS:I can not stop thinking about that little brunette today.
DS: Meredith Grey. Intern. extremely interested in Nuero.
MS: you went digging.
DS: how could i not?
addison walks up
MS: I wanted to grab her and take her into an on call room.
AMS: and who are we talking about?
the boys turn around and gasp.
DS: no one.
MS: Meredith Grey, wow.
AMS: and who is this Meredith Grey?
MS: as of what Derek has told me, Shes and intern, top of her class, daughter of Ellis Grey and already knows her specialty, Nuero.
AMS: and how do you boys know her?
addison asks very suspiciously and curiously.
DS: we dont.
MS: She is very very hot.
they both say at the same time.
AMS: well goodnight mark, lets go derek.

The Next Morning
Bailey walks in, alright Cristina, Cardio
CY: Nooooo, i hate cardio.
MB: Karev, Ortho
MB: Stevens, Peds
MB: O'malley, Fetal
MB: And Grey, Nuero
MG: Which surgeon?
MB: Girl Shepherd
bailey leaves and meredith mumbles "damn it".
