"... Only the first born can compete..." that was all I heard out of my mothers speech.

I am first born and I thought of a plan.

Then I heard "... The princess will decide the first round..."

"Archery! Archery!" I stood up and said. I acted casually and said "I choose archery."

Then my dad said "let the games begin!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There were 3 targets, one for each guy competing for my hand. The first guy who shot got it on the outer ring.
The second guy got it on the second inner ring, than had a hissey-fit.
The third guy dropped all his arrows except one. Then he was about to miss the board completely when my dad scared him and made him get a bullseye.
Then the third guys father started dancing, went in front of the other guys fathers, and lifted up his kilt and said, "feast your eyes!" They looked like they were going to throw up.
Then I snuck out of my chair, grabbed my bows and went to the field.
Everyone looked at me and gasped as I said "I am Merida, first born descendant of Dunbroch. And I'll be shooting for my own hand!"
I look at my mum who stands up.
I was about to shoot my first bow when I found out my dress was to tight to move in.
So then I said "curse this dress!" then I ripped it down the back and on the armpit. everyone gasps.
I shot at the first target and got a bullseye... While walking.
"Merida, stop this!" my mum said.
Then I was still walking as I shot at the second target and got another bullseye.
"Don't you dare loose another arrow!" My mum says walking my way.
Than there was the third target, the one that already had a bow in the middle. I concentrated I took a deep breath then let go of my arrow. It went down the middle of the other arrow, through the board, and onto the wooden plank holding up the target.
I looked at my side and into my mums face, which, was 5 inches away from my face.
I ran to my room. Right when I got in it, I saw something, that looked like a giant bunny.
"Are you Merida?" it asked.
"Yes..." I said slowly, not wanting to lie to the creature. And before I knew what was going on, I was shoved In a sack.
