Okay, I know I may sound like a kid for saying this, but I'm really feeling like going out somewhere with the gang again. Luke recently started feeling better after weeks of medicine and hope. Amber didn't really give a shit if Luke was getting better or not. Hell! He probably would have been better a week ago if she hadn't have drug him out to the ice rink. All that cold and the germs spread on the counters and skates probably gave him another bug on top of the other.

"No, I'm not going anywhere. I could get sick again and I don't want to throw up my body weight again."

"C'mon Luke! Please! You're better now! Hey, on the bright side-I no longer have to call you Pukas!" I raise my eyebrows and wink at him. The corner of his mouth twitches with a smile and then fades back to a frown.

"Ashton, I really don't feel like going out just yet."

"Hammy-"

"Don't call me Hammy! That's not my name!" Luke yells. I wave my hand and ignore him.

"Hammy, you have to go out and get some fresh air. You're going with me whether you like it or not." I stand up and then force Luke to his feet. He struggles against my hold on his wrists and then throws himself back onto his bed.

I stare him down and cross my arms against my chest, "I said no, didn't I?" Hemmings smirks and copies my actions. I'm tired of his childish games and I'm about to crash.

"Luke, I'm begging you. Please go with the gang and I to do something. I'm leaving to go back home tomorrow and I want to have a fun day before then." I pause for a moment before adding, "we can go steal some gummy bears." Luke squints at my face. I'm not smiling like I normally would be.

"You called me Luke. Not Hammy, not Pukas-just normal Luke. My name." Luke comes to the realization that I actually know other people's names. His mouth gapes open and his blue eyes are wide.

"Yeah, so? I'm allowed to say your birth name, am I not?" I snap at him, which takes him back a bit. I've never really yelled at Luke before, unless it was only for fun. He just doesn't understand. Nobody understands. I need this one fun day to remember as a good memory after the 365 plus to come that haunt me every day. The other bad thing about it-Amber had to bring  the memory right back into my mind. Stupid bitch.

"Ashton, I'll go with you then. It seems pretty important to you. What are you wanting to do?" Luke stands up and beats my height by about 3-4 inches. He heads over to his closet side and gets a cutoff to change into, since he hasn't changed from out of his sick clothes in forever. That reminds me, he needs to get a shower. He smells pretty bad for lying in bed for days, sweating and puking up his insides.

"Pukas, we're going to go to a FunZone." Luke groans at the nickname he'll never live down and sulks to the bathroom to take a shower he desperately needed.

"Now the rules of today's race are simple. The brake is on the left side for your left foot. The gas is on the right side with your right foot. Take your turns as carefully as you want. No bumping each other on purpose or we will gladly escort you out of the arena to sit on a bench as the rest of your party happily karts around without you. If you do get bumped on accident, sit there and one of the employees will help you get back on track. On the last lap, one of us will hold up one finger notifying you that your karting is over and you will park in four lines as you see that you are lined up in right now." Pete, the go-karting instructor, tells the eight of us how to follow every go-karting rule in the book. I'm an good driver, so I could win this race easily.
