It was a Monday morning and I would normally be walking to school all droopy and slow but now that I know there is a week left till summer I casually skip about into the school gates. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is George Williams and I'm just your average 11-year-old boy who really hates Mia Parker (she's my worse enemy). Anyway back to the story. I open up my locker and take out my books and head to my first period which was Math. I sit and start writing equations that were on the whiteboard. I suddenly feel a quick tapping on my shoulder, I look to see one of Mia's friends handing me a gold envelope,"Your George right?" she asks "yes," I replied and she walks away back to her desk. I was quite confused about what this envelope was about.
After school, I sat on my bed and opened the envelope it had a piece of paper which was really glittery and I scrolled through chunks of sentences from the invitation and I screamed in excitement. I couldn't believe I was invited to a boat party for a whole week! This was the best summer invite ever.
