I was put in a wheelchair and I started getting used to it. Once we got home I cried because my legs would be paralysed forever. But my mum quickly cheered me up with my favourite meal.
The next day I went to school and everyone stared at me. Lucas and Dominic ran up to me and hugged me. "Are you ok?" They both asked. I nodded and sighed "My legs will be paralysed until the day I die," I said to them. I rolled over to my locker but Mia had stopped me. "George I'm sorry I was mean to you all these years but if it wasn't for you we would have all gone crazy back there." She stated. She gave me a present that was wrapped perfectly.
Once I got home I opened the present and found a perfectly new pocket knife with a note saying, Dear George, I'm so sorry I threw your pocket knife. I should've known it was from your grandpa. I decided to order a new pocketknife from Germany to replace all the mean things I have done to you. I hope you accept this pocket knife as an apology gift. Kind regards Mia Parker. I smiled and forgave Mia. We are now to this day best friends. I was now aware that I need to learn to love me for who I was no matter what.
