'Alexis!!!' I heard from down the corridor. I pulled my head up from my locker seeing Sophia squishing through everyone to get to me. I giggled seeing her getting annoying as nobody would move for her. She finally reached me, and straightened out her clothes with a roll of the eyes.
'Damn animals' she complained making me laugh. I grabbed my books and closed my locker, walking down the hall with Sophia at my side.
'Anyway, where was you last night?' she asked.
'I had my detention then I hung out with Jason why?' I said, looking ahead.
I could see Sophia stop in her tracks at my side, so I stopped looking over at her.
'What? C'mon we have class' I snapped her out of her little daydream.
She started walking again, but still had a shocked look on her face.
'Jason?' She asked. 'Jason McCann?' she asked again.
'Yeah?' I said.
'Oh my god Lexis!! Are you joking with me? I don't know whether to be happy or not about this. I mean, he is a man slag. A player. But then again, I've known him for atleast 4 years now and he sees right through me. How did you do it?'
I giggled. 'Do what? We just hung out?'
Sophia flashed me an 'are you crazy?!' look before saying 'Alexis. I dont think you understand. Just hanging out is what every girl in this school has been waiting for!!'
It was my turn to look at her as if she was the crazy one. 'It was nothing Sophia.'
We walking towards my first class, which Sophia wasnt in. 'This isn't over!' she sternly said before carrying on down the hall. I walked into the classroom, sitting at the back.
After a 2 hour period of falling in and out of sleep, I dragged myself to the cafeteria for lunch. I seen Sophia waving from her table with her friends. I walked over, sitting at the only spare chair. Next to Bella.
'Hey' I said.
They where all grinning at me. I looked at them all. 'What?' I was confused.
'I mayyyyyy have told them about you and Jason' Sophia giggled looking over at me.
'Nothings going on with me and Jason Sophia. Honestly don't go gossiping when you don't even know what even happened. Which was nothing.' I snapped. After that 2 hour period I lost all my energy and was in a bad mood.
Sophia frowned and all the girls started looking anywhere but me. 'I just said you hung out with Jason?' Sophia stated, but it came out more of a question. 'You really don't understand do you?' she asked.
'What?' I looked over at her.
'He's the popular one. He's the one every girl in this school has a crush on, including me, but he sees through everyone of them. He's the player.' She said. 'He's mysterious' she went on.
I was about to reply, but my phone interrupted me from saying anything. I pulled it out to see an unknown number calling. I pressed answer.
'Hello? I said into the reciever.
'Is this Miss Williams?' a lady said.
'Uh yes? Who is this?'
'Your grandmother has been in an accident. She's okay but she's in hospital just so we can keep a close eye on her.'
I started shaking. Sophia looked over me with a confused face. I looked up to see Jason walk through the door, but when he saw my face and the phone he knew best and went to sit with his friends. I could see him keep sending me glances at the corner of my eye.
