Waking up the next day to see Jason cuddled up to me was quiet the sight. At first, I jumped, forgetting the fact I actually stayed at Jason's last night. But then I just melted at the sight of him, he looked like a puppy. Thinking of Jason's face if I told him he looked like a puppy made me quietly giggle to myself. Shifting in his sleep, he slowly opened his eyes. After adjusting to the light in the room, he finally looked up at me and grinned like a little kid that had just been given candy.
"Hey" he whispered.
I smiled, "hey."
He closed his eyes again, the grin still on his face. "I could sleep all day" he said, cuddling up to me and placing a little kiss at my neck. I giggled because it tickled a little.
Looking over at my phone, I picked it up looking at the screen. Oh shit!
Quickly jumping out of bed, I started looking for where I put my clothes last night. Jason was looking at me confused.
"Jason, it's 10am!! Where late for school!!"
He groaned, closing his eyes again and lay back down. "We're late now anyway Lex, we may aswell just stay off."
I turned to look at him before sighing. "I wish I could, like really, but I promised my mom. I always skipped school last year." Grabbing my jeans and top, I walked to the bathroom quickly throwing my things back on. When I walked back to Jason's room, he was dressed.
"I need to go to my dorm real quick, meet me outside in 10" I said not giving him the chance to reply because I had already shut the door.
Running to my dorm, I quickly brushed my teeth, brushed my hair and threw it back into a messy bun. After changing my underwear and clothes, I went outside to see Jason walking towards my dorm building.
"C'mon" I mumbled. Finally getting inside the school building, I realised we still had 10 minutes left of class.
Walking to Miss Jones' class, me and Jason both walked in. At the same time. Awkward. I didn't really think this through.
Everyone stopped their quiet conversations and Miss Jones looked up at us in shock. This looked bad.
"Alexis, Jason, where have you been?" she snapped.
I shuffled on my feet, coughing awkwardly. Normally I would just reply with a smart comment, but the room was too silent and it was too awkward.
"I, uh" I nervously laughed. "Well-"
"We woke up late" Jason shrugged as if nothing was wrong. I shot him a death glare, but he didn't see because he had already started walking to his seat. I started hearing everyone mumbling. They must think we slept together. Oh my god, someone kill me please.
Deciding I couldn't get out of it, I just started walking to my seat. It felt like the walk of shame. Jason had sat down in the seat next to mine. I sat down, realising I needed to talk with him. I needed to end whatever this was before anything started.
Miss Jones gave us one last glare before carrying on with her lesson and everyone else had carried on with what they where doing.
"Lex" Jason mumbled.
"What?" I snapped.
"What's wrong?" He asked, leaning closer to me. I moved my chair away from him.
"Just stop Jason. We need to stop this before anything happens."
"What are you talking about?"
"I didn't fucking come here for some romance Jason, or to have the whole school start rumours or whatever. I just want to be by myself and do my own thing." I wouldn't look at him, because I knew I would just take back what I said.
"Wow" he said, before getting up and going over to his friends. The bell rang, so I quickly picked up my bag and ran out of the classroom. Ugh, I hate this school. There's nothing I want more than to be friends with Jason. Hell, he was the closest thing I actually had to a bestfriend here, but it couldn't happen because I knew we would be friends in school and kiss when we hang out, I would catch feelings too quickly, the school would probably turn against me, the only girl friend I have here who has this insane crush on Jason would also turn against me and then Jason would probably leave me for an easier option.
Walking down the corridor, I seen Soph with the girls waiting at my locker. I gave them a little smile as they seen me.
"We heard what happened in class" Sophia mumbled while I reached her. Giving her the most confused look, I opened my locker.
"How does news spread that fast? And what did you hear?" I interrogated.
"People where infront of us walking down the corridor that where in your class as we where walking to my locker and I overheard them say that you had sex with Jason last night" she said, burning holes into my skin from the side. I dropped the book I was putting into the locker as soon as the words 'you had sex with Jason' had came out of her mouth. My eyes where wide, how could something like that go around the school already?
"And you actually believe that?" I asked her. She shrugged.
I laughed, shaking my head. "Thanks" I mumbled sarcastically before picking up my book from the floor and throwing it into the locker, slamming it closed. I started walking to my next period. I can't believe she believes that I slept with Jason, I thought she trusted me! Yes I had kissed him but if he had even tried anything like that I would of told him to back off.
"Wait Alexis!" I heard Sophia shout. I obviously ignored her being the stubborn person I am.
I felt her hand grab onto my shoulder, pulling me back.
"I didn't even-"
"What kind of friend are you Sophia?! You know, I have basically just told Jason to leave me alone for that exact reason, and now the one person I thought knew me proves me wrong. She actually believes the rumour!" I laughed, even though not one thing about this situation was funny. "Cya round" I mumbled before walking away.
