THE KIDNAPPER

CHAPTER ONE

"Come on, wake up you lazy bones."kirry came in my bed room shouting like hell.

What the hell is wrong with you, i didn't have to go to work today, have just started my leave so i need to sleep please, please?" i pleaded with her.

"Even  even  you are on your leave, does it mean that I can not have  sister -sister morning routing any more? Come on sis,  I love you and you know that very well. Mom and Dad are not hear and we need to keep eachother company and support no matter what. " Kirry state, her hand akimbo.
"I gave the puppy eye expecting her to grand me this change."

"Okay just this once. She gave me this serious parental face before busting out in laughter hysterically till her stomach hurt. I was just joking, you can have your beauty of sleep."
She left and closed on the door.

Thank you. As i pulled the covers over my head.

"Shally, just know that Akim is on his way here for a horse ride."

"Okay, madam boss, i hear you" i replied to her in a sleepy mood.

In between my sleepy mood i wished that Akim would just come and take this nagging sister out of the house for the day.

Akim is my sister's boyfriend but he always made me nerves whenever he was around.

Most of time I could see him surfacing at my work place with no amicable reason. In the name of I was just passing bye and decided to see how you are and request if we can go for lunch together since it's lunch time and I didn't what to have it alone.
Yesterday he came bye for other stupid lunches again.
"Akim this is Shally and am not your girlfriend to start parading me in hotels for lunches please. And for your information, I have alot of work load to clear since am starting my leave tomorrow."
"Really, so does it mean you are going to be free from tomorrow?" He asked with so much excitement.
I could not understand why he was so happy about my leave grinning like chesha cat.
I was startled by his sudden behaviour."why are you happy about my leave? I sked
"So I can inform Dan about it."he Said.

There was something  weird  about him but i didn't know  how to get the puzzle  right.

Many a times, Akim wanted to hook me up with his best friend Dan but i wasn't in for relationships. I was so naive and loved my bubble of peace and no heart breaks.

"Do you plan of becoming the Virgin Mary the second or what?" Akim kept on pestering me with such idiotic questions,but All i knew  is that,  this was my life  and i had to do as i damn pleases.

I was thirty two and still a virgin and that bothered my sister Kirry who ended up share my secret with her boyfriend.

My life was simple and i loved concentrating with my career and having fun on my own without being  restricted  or ordered around  by so called  boyfriend.

I was to be ready for a relationship with my 'Mr. Right but only God knew  when. I considered  men as cheaters and i was never ready for heart break by a son of a bitch.

It was an apartment where i leaved with Kirry and we were both working and earning  pretty good.

I loved reading novels, watching movies and listening to music but outdoors, basketball was my thing.

Sis was addicted to going out every weekend so i used to spend all weekends alone or i go for hangouts with  some of my  girlfriends.

"Am going for some grocery i will be back shortly" she shouted from the outside main door.

''Thank God she has left.'' I felt relieved.
