THE KIDNAPPER

CHAPTER 5

In the cool breeze, i spread my hands in the air and inhaled a lot of it and filled my lungs.

 I exhaled and fantasized with the calmness.

" I believe i can fly, 

i believe i can touch the sky, 

i think about it every now and then, 

spread my wing and fly away.........

" I sung softly in the breeze when someone wrapped me in his arms around my waist. 

I stopped singing and held my breath hence i was not aware of who was holding me since i was not expecting anyone.

"I wish i could hold you like this forever Shalline." The voice suggested. 

" why?" 

"Because  you are the most  precious  jewel  i have  ever seen. "

The voice was male but he did not allow me to turn around and see him.

"Who the hell are you?" i asked in panic. 

"Am the person who loves you with all his heart". 

He kissed my neck and my ear lobe. I almost collapsed in his arms. My legs were jelly  and my heart did some few somersaults .

i closed my eyes with all that sensational feeling running in my nerve system. 

He turned me around and kissed my lips.

"Give me a chance to love you." 

 Flipped my  eyes open and Dante was gazing at me. 

I jumped out of his arms furiously.

"Are you stoking me? You seem to be everywhere i go."

"No babe, it is a coincidence we met here and I am sorry if i scared you." he replied softly."

 Don't baby me, who is you baby?" 

"What are you doing in this ranch alone ?

" I am not alone you dummy, i came  with my sister."

 I left him standing alone as he kept his gaze at me. 

Only his spirit  knows what he was calculating in that head of his.

Akim and Chirry were arguing whether to go home or sleepover and go the following day, when i arrived to their spot.

" Am not spending  any more minute here when that cop keeps on stoking me." 

"Wow sis, come down, will you?" What has he done to you?"

"Wait?""Is that the same coop who pulled you over at the highway?

"Yes he is, so what?"

"Whats up between you two we don't know"

"Their is nothing between me and that........"

Mark cleared his throat. " excuse me ma'am  meet Mr. Walker the owner of the ranch."

 We all turned around to meet him in unison.

" Lord Jesus, you!!" I was surprised as well as mad at him for kissing me.

 He answered yes my Queen." as he bowed down as well as taking off his hat. 

He went ahead and shacked hands with Akim and took my sister's hand and kissed it.

 He turned to me and did the same as my sister. 

"urrg he so annoying"

"You can just call me Dante."

 He turned to my sister to confirm if she wanted to stay till the following day. 

Sister jumped to a yes and the deal was done and closed. I had no choice but to stay. 

Dante instructed Mark to show us rooms where we can change. My sister and i were to use Dante's sister clothes while Akim used Dante's.

As we were to follow Mark to our respective rooms, Dante got hold of my hand and they left without me.

" I need to talk to you." I was shy because of the kiss.

Shally i just need to spend time with you and we get to know each other better.

"why"

"Wait, who the fuck told you my name in the first place?"

"Your driving license did." 

"I have been pulling over with an excuse t of over speeding just  to see you."

My mouth dropped.

"Am sorry i had no choice."

"How.... why.....shit i should have known may be i could run you over"

"Am sorry dear but we can start by being friends."

Irun my hand through my hair with furry and confusion.

"Okay, what do you want from me?"

"Friends!" as he stretched his hand towards me."

 "Not yet friends, lets say acquaintance." 

He smiled and accepted.

 He led me in to the house then to my room. He kissed my forehead 

" Freshen up a lets meet at dinner."  He looked in to my eyes. 

I was playing hard to get but damn this guy was hot. He was in a white t shirt, blue jeans and a cowboy hat. I nodded as a sign of yes.

 He kissed me again but this time on my lips slightly. He smiled and for the first time i smiled back.

"That was too fast, he actually kissed my lips! lets see  where this acquaintance will lead to."
