Chapter 11: Meeting Place

Minjee's POV

I got startled by the ringing of my phone. I look at the clock and see that it was still 3:30 in the morning! Aishh! Who will even call me at this hour? I sigh and decided to answer the call without looking at the caller's I.D.

"Hello?"

".........."

"Hello?!"

"..........."

"What the... Hello?!" I'm seriously getting annoyed right now. I look at the caller's I.D and got shocked to see Joohyun's name on it.
I slowly place my phone back in my ear. More alert.

"Joohyun?"

"Minjee"

"Why are you calling me at this hour?"

"I just wanted to hear your voice. I missed you"

"Oh" I'm speechless for a moment. I can't believe this. There's no way I'm going back to him. There's no way! Minjee get a hold of yourself. Don't you go back again to him and get hurt in the end. Say something!

"Joohyun don't you think it's better to sleep? I mean it's still early and I'm still sleepy here. So what do you think?"

"Oh... I'm sorry. Go to sleep"

"Okay. Bye Joohyun"

"Bye Minjee"

The call ended and I sigh. I close my eyes trying to sleep but I can't go back to sleep anymore.

"Minjee! Come! Come here quick!" My mother said as I lazily walk down stairs. I really feel like I had no energy at all since I didn't get enough sleep.

"Mom what's with you? Why are you jumping?" I ask her getting curious.

"Minjee! Listen to what I say okay?" She said and I just nodded.

"Someone sent an email to your account this morning. I tried to call you in your room but you weren't answering so I decided to read it cause maybe it was an important email and guess what?!"
She said and started to jump in excitement again.

"What is it?"

"Yeontan Enterprises sent you an email and said they would like to have an interview with you tomorrow at 10 in the morning!"

My eyes went wide and I also jump in happiness. I really can't believe this! Finally! If I'll pass the interview then it means I can have a job already.

"Yay! Mom I'm so happy! Yes!" I throw a punch in the air due to excitement.

"Goodluck for tomorrow Minjee"

"I will mom" I said, still smiling.

I decided to do a general cleaning since mom go out to have a grocery shopping. Besides, I'm in a very good mood today so I cleaned the whole house. After I finished, I decided to play games on my phone but then I suddenly got a message from...... Joohyun. I decided to read it and it said that he wants to meet me at the same place. The same place where he told me that his love for me was fake. I hesitated for a moment but I finally made up my mind in the end. I guess there's nothing wrong if I meet him right? So I go to my room to get ready and decided to leave a note to my mom that I'll be going somewhere and will be back after 7 in the evening. I quickly wear my converse shoes and lock the door before I started walking to our meeting place.
