Chapter 16: First day with you

Minjee's POV

I wake up very early today. I just feel so excited right now. Knowing I can already go to work and also knowing that I can already see Joohyun. Oohhhh my heart~ Why do I feel so giddy?

My work starts at 8 in the morning so no need to rush since I wake up early and I have so much time to get ready.

"Oh time to go now" I said to myself as I walk towards the door. I open it and was shocked to see Joohyun waiting for me. His car was with him and he was dressed so nicely. Gosh how can he be so manly with that suit. He was busy looking through his phone so I call him.  He looked at me and wave so excitedly while I walk towards him.

"Yah! Why did you even bother to wait for me?  You could just go to the company first and do your work. I'm sure you have so many paperworks to be done, Mr. Billionaire" I mocked him.

"Why? Is it wrong to take you with me at work? Besides you're my girlfriend so I can do this lovey dovey things whenever I want"

"Yeah sure" I replied and laugh at him.

"Aishh let's stop and just get in the car. We'll go to work together." He said and wink. I just smile and obey what he said.

The ride was fun. Joohyun and I talk about their company's history, goals and their achievements through the years. I was really amazed by the company and it just made me love it more. I suddenly set a goal for myself to work and achieve hard.

The company's building has a very calming theme on it. It is very welcoming and various classic artworks are hanged from the walls. I was still amazed by the building's design and keep on looking around. I saw a lady coming towards us, she wears a very welcoming smile as she made her way to us.

"Good morning sir." She greeted Joohyun
before she looked at me.

"Good morning ma'am, you must be Kang Minjee the new worker here."

"Yes!" I happily answered.

"I'm Park Songhyun, secretary of Mr. Kim Joohyun."

I playingly glance at Joohyun and he just sheepishly smile. This dude, pretending to be shy.

"Follow me to my office and let's discuss something first."

"Yes ma'am." So I followed her to her office while Joohyun went to his office to start working.

"So what I'm supposed to tell you is instead of being a regular office worker, you would be working as a secretary of Mr. Kim Taehyung."

"What?!"

"Yeah, he choose you to be his secretary since the previous one was fired."

"What? Why?"

"According to Mr. Kim, this girl seems to have hidden agenda. She obviously likes Mr. Kim too so we can obviously say that she took advantage on her position just to get close with him. How pathetic."
