Falling For My Bestfriend

Chapter 10: Hang out

Minjee's POV

I got up so early in the morning and do my morning routine. I  just make myself a cereals and eat it. I felt so energetic today. While eating, my phone starts to beep. I answer it directly.

"Hello? Who's this?" I asked.
"Minjee! It's me Taehyung. Are you free?" he asked me.
"Yeah. I'm actually eating right now. Why?"
"I just have so many things to tell you and I also want you to go out with me this dinner. It's my treat! Don't worry. If it's okay with you?" He asked.
"Yeah why not? Just pick me up at our house at 6 pm."
"Oh okay. Bye for now!"
"Okay bye!" And with that, I hang up the call and continue to eat.

6 pm:
*beep! beep!*
I already hear the car sounds. It must be Taehyung. I said goodbye to my mom and finally opened the door just to saw Taehyung waiting for me outside his car. He  just wear normal clothes but the appearance of him wearing those, he looked so handsome. Wait what? Oh right! He's my bestfriend it's okay if I complimented him!

"Taehyung! Why do you look so good?" I asked him while grinning.
"Ahh thanks" he sheepishly smiled.

We headed to a restaurant first and eat. After that, we decided to go to the park where we usually go during our childhood days. This park is not so popular after all. But this place is so special to us. We created many moments here during our childhood days. Before, this park was filled with kids since it has playground but now, they probably remove it from this place but the beautiful scenery was still the same. There are still trees and benches where you can sit and feel the cool breeze hitting your skin. It's just so beautiful. It's enough to lessen your stress or even forget about your problems even just a moment. We stayed in the park for awhile and talked about random things. From Taehyung's argument with Hong Joo, him getting scolded by his father and how he and Hong Joo sort out their problems and many more. Of course I also shared my experiences to him. After our talk, he decided to drop me off.

"Bye Taehyung! Thanks for today!" I said. "Yeah bye! We should hang out more often you know?" he said and that just made me chuckled.
"Yeah yeah whatever" I answered and bid him goodbye.

     *I miss hanging out with Taehyung. He's right, we should hang out more often I guess. It's been so long since we go out together. I just miss going out with him too*

I smiled at the thought. I just shrugged it off and had a quick shower. After that I doze off to sleep.
