Chapter 3 - Part 1

I really hope you are enjoying this fanfiction I'm making. I'm sorry for not posting enough chapters for my other stories. I'm writing 3 books now. I also have an IWU thing going on 5 days a week, so I only get an hour or two of free time. Sorry if I'm lagging behind on the story updates. Anyway, enjoy the story.

"Who's here?" I turn my head around only to make direct eye contact with the man who was the famous Lightning McQueen.

~Lightning's POV~

I was getting out of my trailer (Or whatever you call what racers use to transport in to go to new places. Idk) to go see my best friend Mater. Immediately, paparazzi comes running up to me, asking me for an autograph or a picture. Maybe even both.

Eventually, the people start to clear up, so I can get a glance at the nice small, town that everyone loves. Radiator Springs. As I try to look around, while still signing autographs of course, I see something, no something familiar. I can't place my tongue on it, but it's familiar.

I try to find a way to see who it was. I ended up seeing pink hair. As soon as the people moved out of my way, I realized it was that pretty, nice girl from the other day. Her name was Caitlin.

At first I was surprised. What was she doing here? Does she know Sally? I can't believe we ran into eachother again. At least we didn't literally run into eachother like last time.

I didn't realize that I was spacing out and staring at her while I was thinking. She looked back at me shocked as well. We eventually met eachothers gazes and stared at one another. I closed my eyes and snuck a little smirk on my face as I looked down a little. Making my handsome face. It made me look a little cool, but that's besides the point.

I looked up, erasing away that smirk I had on my face, opened my eyes, and walked over to where Caitlin and Sally were standing.

~Caitlin's POV~

I saw Lightning make his way over here. He stood right in front of me and Sally. "So...We meet again friend.", Lightning said as he looked at me with a smile on his face.

"Same to you friend.", I replied smiling a little. "What brings you to Radiator Springs?"

"Oh, you know, I came to visit my other friends that live here, like Sally.", He said looking at Sally. She waved at him, he waved back.

I was a little jealous, but why though? I just shrugged it off.

"Oh, I didn't know that you knew these people, Lightning", I said.

"Yeah, I met them a couple months ago. After my very first race.", Lightning said as a smile grew on his face, which made me smile as well.

"Yeah, I remember that day. that was the day I also gave you that nickname.", Sally said as they both mad direct eye contact.

"What nickname?", Lightning said nervously as he tried to avoid her gaze.

"Your nickname. 'Stickers.'", Sally said, and he got a bit nervous a little more.
