(( Winter here to write angst. TW: cutting >_<
Don't worry though! Prinxiety always saves the day!))
Virgil grips his hair tightly, ignoring the pain. Every emotion he was feeling was painful enough. Tears streaming down his face, he lets out a small sob. He had once again messed up. Like always. He had accidently yelled at Roman to which the prince yelled back. And even though what Roman had said was very rude, the words were all true in Virgil's head.
Timeskip to 20 minutes ago~
Thomas stands in front of the camera making a video about coming out. Since it was pride month, he obviously thought it would be a good idea to get the sides opinions on how to come out.
Logan, like his logical self suggested that the person watching should just simply go up to their parents and tell them. Plain and easy. Patton suggested making a rainbow cake and making puns to get the point across such as, "Let's get one thing straight, I'm not." and other jokes like that. Virgil, being.. angsty suggested not coming out at all until you know they are okay with gay people. Finally, Roman suggested to bring their boyfriend/girlfriend home just to see what happens.
"Roman that's literally the dumbest idea ever." Virgil comments, moving some hair from his face. "What if the viewers parents started yelling?"
"Then..yell back." The Prince retorts, justifying his idea.
"Seriously?"
"Well at least my idea wasn't boring! Not telling them at all? Seriously?"
"Only until they know their parents perspectives! I'm just being honest with my opinon!" Virgil growls.
"Like always." Roman mumbles.
"I'm sorry...what." Virgil scowls.
"Like always!" Roman shouts making Virgil flinch and Patton cower in fear. "You are always so honest. Your honesty gets Thomas upset! Your honesty ruins days and lives!." Virgil's eyes widen while Roman speaks. "Your honesty hold people back! And your honesty is what makes you the least favorite out of all of us!"
No one says anything. Logan stands looking very astonished, Patton looks terrified, Thomas looks completely shocked, and Virgil looks emotionless. He just stares at Roman as one tear falls down his cheek. He disappears into the mind space.
When he disappears, Roman's eyes widen. "I..I didn't mean it. I didn't mean that." Before anyone says anything else, he also disappears to his own room.
Back to Present time
Virgil gasps for a breath as he stands up and makes his way to the bathroom. He promised himself he wouldn't do it anymore but everything the romantic trait had said was true. Everything was true, reminding Virgil of every single reason he disliked himself.
He shakily grabs the doorknob and after a few tries, gets inside. Virgil immediatly locks the door and opens the last drawer under the sink. He takes out a small razors and sets himself into the bathtub. Sobbing lightly, he pulls back his sleeve and stares at his wrist.
He grabs the razor and runs it acrossed his pale wrist. Red lines appears and flood starts pouring. He makes more lines, biting his lip and sobbing.
He ruins lives. Cut.
He holds people back. Cut.
He makes Thomas upset. Cut.
He was and will always be the least favorite. Cut.
He made several more, coming up with other reasons to hurt himself. Suddenly, the doorknob jiggles.
"Anyone in there?" It was Roman. Virgil attempts to choke back a sob but fails. "Virgil? Are you okay? I didn't mean what I said." Lies. He weakly picks up the razor again. "Virgil? Virgil!" The anxious trait says nothing. "Virgil open the door!" Roman knew something was wrong however nothing was heard. "If you don't open this door, I will."
"N-no.." Virgil cries.
Roman growls and stands back. He runs towards the door and slams into it with his shoulder. The door makes a snapping noise but stays in tact. Roman sands back before doing it again. The door collaspes from the impact and breaks completely.
Virgil quickly puts the razor to his wrist again but before he can cut, the sharp object is taken from him and thrown across the bathroom. Virgil sobs as Roman puts his arms around the smaller trait. "N-no!" He attempts to move to grab the razor, but Roman hold him tight in the bathtub.
"You are not getting that back."
"P-please..." Virgil weakly bows his head in shame and Roman climbs fully into the bathtub, bring Vigril up against him.
"Virgil, love, please. You can't." He pets his hair while the other cries. "You can't cut. I love you." Lies.
"Let go."
"I'm not letting go until I know you are alright."
"What you s-said was true. All of it!" Virgil sobs into Roman's shirt.
"No it wasn't. I was just angry and didn't men any of it. None of it was close to true." Roman states firmly. Virgil's cries die down a bit.
"No.. it wa-"
"Kitten, I promise it was far from the truth. I shouldn't have even spoken such lies when mad."
Virgil sniffs as his tears stop streaming down his face.
"I love you so much and I swear you'll never feel that way again. I won't let you." Roman says making Virgil turn to him. Virgil says nothing before burying his head into Roman's chest again.
"...I love you too." The two sit like that, in the bathtub for quite a long time. Eventually Virgil yawns and closes his eyes.
"No, love." Roman gently runs a hand through his hair. "You must stay awake, we got to get you cleaned up." Virgil makes a noise of disproval but Roman just lightly smiles and picks him up bridal style anyway. He steps out of the bathtub and places Virgil on the counter.
Virgil leans against the mirror as Roman cleans his cuts carefully. After finishing, he bandages Virgil's arm and carries him to his room. Placing Virgil down in his bed, he climbs in besides him. Now he was afraid to let Virgil go.
So from then on, he wouldn't. The two began dating and ended up getting married. The end.
Why did I write this.. XD
