Virgil paced around his room muttering incoherent scentences to himself. He just couldnt stop thinking. To many thoughts and emotions were running through his head and he couldnt process them in time, until they went to the next one. But there was one that stuck with him:

Love.

He wouldnt- no, he couldnt admit it to himself, but love was floating around his head. None of the thoughts wouldnt stop, and it made his frustration come out. They came as a blast. One feeling from another, flying across his mind causing him to feel nauseous.

"Why, why, why, whywhywhy?!" He constantly mumbled to himself. He needed to stop, just get away from the other sides, and Thomas, just for a little. He couldnt corrupt himself, or the others just because of a stupid 'crush.' But then we would be back at Thomas with no anxiety, and that is not a good version of him.

He buried his face in his hands and collapsed in a mess on the floor, not having the strength to pace around anymore. Tears rolled down his face as a few sniffles came out of him before a soft sob emitted from him. A few more came, making the anxious boy feel shameful about it. Why couldnt he just accept this feeling?

"Because your not lying to yourself." Came a voice. Virgil jumped, instantly removing his hands and being face to face with one of the many sides of Thomas that he had once shared partnership with and honestly, one of the more intimidating sides of Thomas.

Deceit.

His face was what scared Virgil most in this situation. Having the slyer side suddenly appear in his room, the scales on his face instantly popping out more in the darkness, was one of the most frightening things hes ever witnessed. It wasnt often Deceit came to the sides, let alone into Virgils room.

"Wh-what are you doing h-here Deceit?" The boy questioned him, anger rushing through him. The more confident side smirked and crossed his arms.

"Well its totally not to comment on your thoughts about Patton.. totally not," he commented, sarcasm laced through his voice. The anxious boy's eyes went wide, his lips just barely creating an O shape in shock. This side of Thomas was also one of the most annoying.

"Sh-shut up Deceit! Y-you dont have to c-come in to r-ruin everything!" He stuttered, cringing at how weak he sounded. Deceit's smirk went into a bright smile as he crept closer to the somewhat corrupted boy.

"Oh, Virgil, dont you know? I merely cover up the truth in situations like these." Virgil looked up at him, and Deceit cackled.

"Dont you remember? I can shut up you, Roman, Logan... even Patton. I dont have to do it just to get your four to shut up about something Thomas doesnt want to know! There isnt really a difference in this situation, yet... ive never heard of a side wanting to shut themselves up."

The anxious side looked at Deceit with wonder. He was right. Deceit can shut up any of the four sides. But.. does he really want that?

Crushing on Patton was a huge thing for him. Patton made Virgil feel safe, secure, welcomed. But refusing to admit the love to him at all felt barbaric. Though he was fighting with himself for liking Patton, what if he did want to tell him? Come out, and be brave. Bold.

Heck, it took him so long to tell the sides his name, let alone that he loves one of them. But with that in mind, maybe it wasnt so impossible...?

But what if he didnt?

What if he never did want to tell Patton. What if, he forced himself to be quiet over pure will for nothing? All that strength and energy for nothing. Or worse:

What if Patton rejected him?

"Ah, the thoughts of wonder." Deceit's smile turned back into his sly smirk, causing chills to go through Virgil.

"I-I dont know what to do..." He whispered more to himself than the other side. Deceit pushed himself away from the boy, tilting his head and keeping his smirk.

"Well, why dont we ask Patton?"

That was what got into Virgils head. He looked at Deceit with fear and anger, pushing himself up and pointing a finger at the slyer side.

"You will not bring Patton here!" He shouted. "Not into this problem, and most importantly not into my room! It'll corrupt him in here, he doesnt have the other sides and is alone with us!"

Silence filled the room. Virgil glared angrily at Deceit, finger still pointing at him. Deceit's moment of shock quickly filled with amusement as his hand waved up. "Too late"

Virgil froze. He couldnt breathe, and was fearful of turning around behind him. He closed his eyes and dropped his hand down, feeling defeated at this situation.

"Oh, hi kiddo!"

(Should I make a part 2????)
