Fire. That was all I could see. Everything was on fire. The trees, the ground,  the plants, all on fire. A sudden scream pierced the silence. I whipped around and saw my friends lined up on the ground. One by one the flames caught them and they all fell to the same fate. Tears streaked my face. No, this can't be happening. It's all my fault....

A loud laugh is heard behind me and I slowly turn. I-it's me. No, is that what I've become? I try to run but trip. The other me comes up close. "Hey doods, it's Mitch or Flaming Canadian!" He says in a mocking tone. "And we're gonna play the hunger games..."  He pushes me to my feet. "Run Mitch! Run!" He laughs. "It's more fun this way!" His pupils dilate and he grins. "Unless you juat want me to end it here."

I gasp and start running but I fall. Instead of just hitting the ground I just keep going. Into the void.

I wake up sweating and realize the blanket's on fire. I swear and swat it out. I look out the metal bars to the clock. It's only 1:47. I slump against the wall and sigh. So much for sleep.
