We spawn in a hallway. Blood stains the walls and an eerie silence is all to be heard. Erin pulls out a compass and begins to walk towards a door. I follow close behind, sword in hand. She slowly opens the door and pulls me in. It's pitch dark and I can barely see my hands infront of my face.

I jump when the lights flash on. Redstone torches line the walls up to a large throne. A single figure sits upon it, his legs crossed and his face hidden by shadows. I hear a chuckle. "I suppose you want to kill me, right?" His eyes snap open to reveal two blank glowing palettes. The figure slowly stands up and takes a few steps forward. "As you all know, I'm the one known as Herobrine." His words send an icy chill down my back.

"And I wish you good luck." He rushes forward with an insane burst of speed and pins me up against a wall. His hands wraps tigher around my neck and I struggle to breath. I claw at his arms in a feeble attempt to break free. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Erin charge towards Herobrine. She catches him off guard and makes a shallow slash running from Herobrine's shoulder blade to his hip. He lets out a grunt and punches Erin in the jaw, sending her flying across the air. She lands with a sickening thud and shakily gets up. Herobrine walks towards her with a look of pure insanity. I take the opportunity to send a couple arrows his way. A few land square in his back and he stands rigid for a few seconds before continuing his path, not bothering to pull out the arrows. I realize that he would reach Erin before I could get to him with a sword so I quickly attempt to blast a fire ball his way. It's harder without the Blaze controlling me but I manage to send a small orb of flame his way. It narrowly misses. Herobrine slowly turns around. He looks at me before full out charging. I only have a few seconds to engulf my body in flames. He comes into contact and rams me up against a wall. His body is lit on fire but he only grimaces. I leave an indent in the nether brick walls before slumping to the floor. A sharp pain shoots through my side but I pay no heed. Any hesitation could be my end.

I quickly get up, grunting at the pain. Herobrine smiles and snaps his fingers. The flames engulfing his body flicker before sizzling out of existence. He puches me and I end up creating another indent in the wall. My vision starts to get hazy as I watch Herobrine strut over to Erin. He wraps his hands around her neck and laughs as she struggles. I feebly reach out but my arm falls slack. I can only feel pain. I cry out as Erin's flailing slows down and eventually stops.  Herobrine lets out a huge laugh but stops suddenly. Tears in my eyes, I try to figure out why. He drops Erin's limp body and falls to his knees. A blue glowing sword juts out of his chest, pure black blood glistening on the blade. Herobrine's face twists up and he let's out in assortment of horrible curses before disappearing in a poof of dark smoke.

A figure steps into the dim light, sheathing his sword. He has a faint smile and walks over to me. "Ah, my dear boy." he says helping me sit up. "You're a mess." I can't really respond without grimacing in pain so I stay silent. He seems to understand and holds a bottle up to my lips. I feel the cool liquid slide down my throat and my strength return.

"T-thanks."I manage to get out. I quickly divert my attention to Erin. Was she really dead?

The man, as though reading my thoughts, nods his head. "Yes, but don't worry. She can be revived. Now, we should get you home." He smiles and snaps his fingers. Everything goes black.
