I felt the Blaze take over again and I was unable to do anything. I watched as he burnt down the iron cage bars and advanced on Jerome. I watch as he burnt him to a crisp and laughed at his screams. Army recruits streamed down into the dungeon and I barreled past them. I just smashed out of there like it was nothing. The Blaze was on the loose again.

I struggle against him and nearly break through when I we see someone in the distance. This throws me off, it's Bashur. No! I try to tell him to run but my voice won't work. My body rushes up to him and quickly ends him. At least he felt no pain. I feel myself slowly start to slip away into a deep sleep. Sleep sounds nice. Maybe I can wake up and see that it was all just a dream.

¤Time Skip!!!¤

I moan and slowly open my eyes. I blink a couple times to adjust to the light. I look around and tighten up.

I get up and see that I'm in a Nether Fortress. I stare for a moment then blindly start running. This can't be real. No way did I just kill Jerome. I couldn't have. It must have been some sick joke the Blaze was playing on me, right? I try to wipe my face but only end up dirtying it further with blood. My chest tightens up and I fall to the ground in a sobbing mess. This wasn't my blood. This wasn't a dream.

I sit there and cry until I have no more tears. An empty feeling comes across me and I curl into a ball. Footsteps can be heard but I don't care. I someone kills me then that's that. If I get thrown in jail that's fine too. What I've done is horrible.

"Mitch? God you're a mess." I recognize the voice as Erin's. I don't bother to reply. Just curl up tighter. "I know what you did. And it's fine, Jerome will be okay. So will Bashur."

I look up stunned.  "W-what? But, I killed them..."

"If you can manage to kill a boss you can respawn them. But the Blaze will try to stop you..."

Mitch chokes back a sob. "But I have to save them!"

Erin nods. "And you will. I learned how to get rid of the Blaze. But it's not easy. Follow me."
