Jimin groaned in frustration, burying his face in his arms on top of the desk. He was exhausted─holding his classes as usual, and on top of that handling the lawsuit.

He opened his eyes to peak at his wristwatch. 2:49pm already. His last hour-long lecture of the day would start at 3. After that a cab would pick him up to drive him to the lawfirm, where his father, Yoongi and Jungkook were meeting him.

Jimin told them all about Jungkook three days ago─who he was, what he had to do with the case, and his mental illness. Yoongi had kept quiet most of the time after hearing of it, but whenever he did say something, it was in favour of what Jimin wanted. It was frustrating, because he did not seem to understand Jungkook's condition fully. It was as if Yoongi agreed with Jimin just to please him. Though, perhaps he trusted Jimin's judgement just because he did not understand. Frankly, Jimin did not know─he was smart, not Sherlock Holmes.

It was not just Yoongi that trusted Jimin to make the right decisions though. Jimin's father had agreed with his wished once he had presented them. Although Jimin was no lawyer, he was now more or less in control of the way they would go about the lawsuit. Jimin therefore asked for suggestions on how to legally go about the issue, and decided what would suit their case best─considering Jungkook's condition.

From the start, Jimin had decided to help with the case in consideration of Seokjin. Now, he would be a liar if he said that Jungkook was not the biggest reason. He felt responsible for him, and could not just leave it to his father from here on. Jimin wanted─no, needed─to be there in court, even if he could have just passed it on to a legitimized practicing doctor and left it at that. Instead, Jimin had told his father that it was best if he came along to court─just to make sure that the doctor they choose would get everything right as they speak in front of the judge and jury.

Both guilt, relief and excitement had buzzed in his blood at his father's approval. Guilt, because it was only a half truth that he needed to be there─Jimin would pick the doctor himself, and would only choose someone he trusted. Relief, because if something were indeed to go wrong, he would at least be there to do something about it if he could. Excitement─a feeling that in itself also caused the guilt to flare up even more─because it would mean that he could be there for Jungkook.

Standing up from his seat, he gathered the stack of papers to hand out to the students and his notes. He hoped to be able to focus on the lecture, and push the lawsuit out of his mind for the last hour. He walked out of his small office and locked the door before slipping the key into the pocket of his slacks.

The lecture room was already filling up as Jimin walked in. Though very young, he had already gained a good reputation and been classified as the best professor at the institution─unofficially. He had a very different way of teaching, known for explaining difficult topics with ease.

What made him so successful was his ability to read people. During his general medical training, he improved much faster than the others as he understood the patients without having to ask too much─and if a patient lied, he would know. To say that the hospital was disappointed when he resigned after only having worked there for a short time after getting his license, would be an understatement. They had tried to convince him to stay, but were never successful. Jimin had other plans.

"Good evening!" Jimin said as they had all settled in the room. "Today we're moving onto something new in Human Physiology."

He picked up the stack of papers and walked towards the front row.
